James and his son provide top-notch work and are an absolute pleasure to work with. I asked them to do a major upgrade on the house’s pipes and drains, and couldn’t be happier with the results, efficiency, professionalism, can-do attitude and responsiveness. I had minor other issues about 8 weeks later and James answered the call immediately and solved those items also. It goes without saying we’re now friends and the levels of trust are complete. He’s gone on to do work for my cousins and aunt, both on short notice and with completely satisfactory results. His quality of work is, basically, perfect. The plumber showed up on time (I called Saturday afternoon, and he was here first thing Monday morning), was polite and helpful, and helped hook up both washer and dryer without charging extra. The pricing was fair and the service was great. I had him look at a few other plumbing projects I need to do around the house, and he was honest about suggesting fixes and clearly wasn't trying to sell me products or services I did not need.

With the recent cold temperatures (mid-February) we had a pipe burst in a basement bedroom closet. Ennis came the same day we called and not only replaced the pipe with pex but rerouted it to prevent a future repeat. His skill set was phenomenal and he was very considerate in pulling drywall out in order to repair (he only opened up what he needed to). I would recommend him to anyone needing plumbing services. He is friendly and easy to work with!!

Pipe repairs

It's the night before I need to leave town for a work trip in the middle of the pandemic. I hear some noise downstairs that doesn't sound quite like traffic...a pipe in my garage cracked in three different places and started spraying water all over my garage. I scrambled to find and call a plumber. James picked up right away and was at my house within two hours. He had all the tools and replacement materials needed to complete the job efficiently. In less than an hour, the old, cracked pipe was gone, the new material was installed and I was able to run water throughout my house with no leaks. Not sure what I would have done without his help (especially on a day when pipes were bursting all over the area). Would recommend James' services far and wide.

James (father) and Taylor (son) are just outstanding individuals. We had experience very cold temperatures this week (-14 degrees) that my pipes had froze up. James was able to pinpoint the issue and fix it in less than 10 minutes. He and his son were able to install a new sink, faucet and garbage disposal very quickly and it looks just great. He quoted the price over the phone and made sure to charge me what he had quoted. It is great having a master plumber like James and Taylor that can quickly solve problems and get everything back in working order. I will recommend them to all my family and friends. I usually don't give A's for reviews cause everyone can improve but they were honest from day one for estimate and on time . They went above what is expected for my father ( 84 yrs old and hard of hearing ) when his hot water tank blew a leak they were there right away for safety and treated him with Respect . Their work looks great and very clean and safe for everyone. Great and fair pricing . I will use them again and refer them to everyone.

I am not one to write reviews. But I have to share about my experiences with Ennis Plumbing. I have worked with James and his crew for several years on many different projects, from simple valve replacements to complete plumbing re-do’s on fix and flips. James is so professional, always on time, always professional and always reasonably priced. Out of all the contractors I have worked with, James is my consistent “go-to” for all plumbing needs. You don’t need to call anyone else because he does great work and you can count on him every time. So many contractors have to babysat and begged to work. Never had that issue with James, even when he was swamped with other projects he always showed up when he said he would and got the job done. Looking forward to many more years of working with him!

We had a leak under our kitchen sink. They immediately knew we needed a new garbage disposal. They came the next day. Very safe adhering to covid19 safety guidelines. Great job! Fantastic experience! Fast response to an urgent plumbing problem. Great service, great communication and follow up. First time using Ennis Plumbing, but I will definitely call again for future plumbing needs.

On a Monday morning, we woke up to a flooded basement bathroom floor. We called a few highly recommended Angie's List contractors, and James and his son were able to squeeze us in on Tuesday morning between appointments. They called 30 minutes before they arrived to inform us they were on their way. Once they arrived, they worked diligently to identify where the leak originated. They carefully removed only one tile from our basement bathroom shower to repair a cracked pipe in the wall under our kitchen. Once repaired, it was determined there were two more cracked pipes in the wall. They spent the better part of an hour identifying the leaks and where in the wall the cracked pipes were located. Again, they carefully cut discreet holes in the wall to repair the pipes. They recommend we have our pipes snaked to clear out any blockage and referred us to gentleman that was able to come the same afternoon. The snake he brought was 25 feet, and we were now experiencing some slight leakage under the kitchen sink. James texted us that evening to see how it went. We told him, and he said he would stop by in the morning to check everything again. After several tests of the dishwasher, full sinks, etc., it was fixed. Whatever was caught in the pipe was gone. We decided to have our main line scoped just to be safe. James said we didn't need to and recommend we cancel our appointment, but referred us to a reputable company anyway. The scope was clear, but the gentleman recommended we have our clean out replaced. My husband decided to replace the cap instead and texted James to discuss his plan to do so. James and my husband have been texting for the past few days to ensure all is well with the pipes and the cap. James and his son are incredibly thorough and follow up on their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have pipe/plumbing repairs. Thanks!

This guy is the best plumber that I ever hired. Over the years, I have used multiple plumbers but Ennis knows his stuff and does a super job at a reasonable price.

WOW, James Ennis picked up the phone immediately and came to the rescue within just a few hours WITH the new heater IN hand. Im a very good handiman myself so I really look for excellent work.
