Everything went very well. Dutch Creek came out shortly after my request for an estimate. While it wasn't the lowest estimate I received for the work, their responsiveness and timeliness to get the job done was excellent. The electrician arrived on time, went right to work, and completed the job in the time anticipated.

Excellent technician, very professional, excellent work at a fair price. I will definitely recommend to others !

Overall it was excellent. They were friendly, and very responsive when I explained I had a burning smell. They are courteous over the phone and are attentive with my needs.

Dutch Creek Electric came to our location to install 2 can lights on our front porch and add 3 can lights to our back porch. The job exceeded our expectations from start to finish as the installation was not considered easy from an install location standpoint. Dutch Creek arrived before the actual job for an initial estimate and provided the estimate within a couple of days via email. The estimate was clear and concise and they added in a new customer discount of 10% off. For the actual work Dutch Creek arrived on time and had the materials available and ready. They took the time to go over what they were going to do and did a recon in the attic to make sure that there were no show stoppers before starting. I admit that I was nervous about the possibility of drywall holes being cut to run the wires since this is a remodel, but I was pleasantly surprised when there was only a half inch diameter hole that was drilled to pull some of the back porch wires to one of our outlets. My point is, that Dutch Creek went out of their way in my opinion to minimize cosmetic impact to my house and I appreciate that. They could have cut a bunch of holes and took the easy way out and I would have not known the difference. They were nice enough to install a dimmer that I ordered to replace the stock switch and the clean up of the areas was thorough.

Vic was our electrician, and he was courteous, respectful of our home, and proficient in his skill. He came and left exactly when he said he would, and cleaned up nicely each day. He explained exactly what he was doing,sought our permission when needed, and asked often if we had any questions. He went the extra mile when complications arose and resolved them to our complete satisfaction. Dutch Creek Electric is rated among the top 3 on Angie's list, and we would support that ranking.

It was good. A guy from the company came and performed the service. He did what he needed to do and that was it. He came to check something and he said that it would cost me $89 because what I had him check was my office but it was just a small office and it was more like a house. He said that the deal was for a residential place and not for an office but he will go ahead and honor the coupon so that was it. The charge was supposed to be $89 but he just took the coupon. I just had a small problem and he fixed it immediately. He did not take much time and he was timely. He said that he will come on a certain time and he came when he was supposed to come so he was reliable on that sense. His price was a good value because electricians sometimes are expensive and the quality of his service was good.

The service was  okay. He charged me for replacing the dimmer switch. I found out later that he did not do the work. I then confronted him and he gave me the money back. I was surprised because he was very professional and we talked for a long time while he was here doing the work.

My husband is an electrical engineer and was very impressed with the knowledge and concern for overload that Mike and his partner had. We have many freezers in our garage and we were moving to a new property and needed the job done right and on time. They accomplished both and came in under original cost.

Had to re-schedule original appointment due to one of their other jobs not being finished.  Showed up on time, very professional and quick to diagnose/fix problem.  Would definitely call and use again.  Highly recommend for anyone with any electrical issues.

They had to repair the plug behind the stove. It wasn't receiving enough power to charge up the filliments. It took about 30 - 45 minutes. They said they'd be here between noon- 2pm, and they were here during that time. The tech recognized the problem right away and obviously knew what he was doing. He gave me some tips for preventing the problem in the future. He also gave me the heads up that if I buy a new stove in the future, I need to take the pigtail off of my current stove and put it on the new stove to be up to code. I called them about payment, and during the context of my call, the manager asked me about how the job went. It was a fine job.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out well. They were pretty fine, and did their work. They came out when they said they were going to. I think they are expensive. They bill you per service, and not per hour, and for an electrician, you want to be billed per hour.

My ceiling fan was not installed properly from the previous owner and due to the recent crazy rainstorms it fell out of our ceiling as we were going to bed. He didn't have any appointments available for at least a week to reinstall it, but came over during his lunch hour to remove and cap the wires. After spending the night on the floor with a baby (the fan was over our bed), I was so grateful that Dutch Creek Electric came to my house an hour after I called them. It absolutely changed my perspective of what has been an already difficult week. This will be my company for some future electrical work I need done (including reinstalling that fan). 

They were on time and efficient. I would absolutely hire them again!

They were very courteous and nice.  I did have a problem with one of the fans and they came back out quickly and fixed it with no problem.

Got here early, was extremely professional, gave us all of the information we needed to make an informed decision.  I would recommend this company and use them again in the future.

The house was built in 1978 and the electric panel was out dated and didn't meet code. As a matter of fact, there are two homes in this subdivision who had fires due to the out dated electric panel.
We are installing solar panels with Solarcity. Another awesome company. Costs us $0.00, nada, zero, zilch and they included paying for the electric panel installation. Again, $0.00 cost to us, saving us $3500-$4000, plus we are saving 45% + on our electric bill.
Jeremy from Dutch was great. Explained the whole process, including what Excel had to do. They also know Solarcity installation procedures as a subcontractor, and he installed their "special" connecting box. The site was cleaned up.They are now our primary electrician for future needs. They are a small company, have great attention to detail and very customer orientated. Awesome!

Wonderful. I've found a great electrician and wouldn't dream of using any other company. I've used Dutch Creek Electric three times now: once to install a ceiling fan, once for the baseboard heater and electrical outlet, and once to install two new ceiling light fixtures in my living room. I've worked with Mike and Jeremy and both are prompt, friendly, and perform the work in a timely manner. They also answer my many questions and give me options when appropriate. Lou has done the scheduling and has also been very helpful (I can usually get him on the first phone call but the one time I called after hours, he called me back promptly the next morning). I have an older home and need lots more electrical work, which I do as often as I am able to save up a little money. I'm a loyal customer now.

Mike was very flexible in setting up a time that worked for me.
Mike was very professional and friendly and we appreciated the fact that he put
shoe covers on upon entering our home. Not only did Mike quickly diagnose and
repair our electrical problem he was very helpful in explaining what the
problem was and offered general advice that will help us avoid future
electrical problems. I will definitely contact Dutch Creek Electric for any
future electrical work.

From the beginning, Dutch Creek Electrical was helpful and professional. They first installed the solar panels and the monitoring system in an efficient manner that resulted in just one change required by the county building inspector (to install an outside light that will never be used). All the way through both projects I have never seen my husband so pleased to work with a contractor - they coached him on what he could do himself and worked side by side with him to install the barn rafter bracing before installing the lights. They made 3 or 4 visits - each one on time or with advance notice, and were consistently responsive to our questions and requests. We are very happy with the results, and the cost was reasonable. We are planning to hire Dutch Creek again for the remainder of our house 'wish list' and just hope they won't be too busy to accommodate us! Highly recommended.

The service was fair overall but I wasn’t very happy with their services.
