Direct Floor and Design

The workers were never on time. They tracked varnish footprints on my existing hardwood floors and splashed varnish on the walls and left it there with out fixing. The baseboards were not mitered in and look awful all the way around the walls. The wood doorframes were damaged when the men moved the furniture back in to the rooms. A couch was placed on wet varnish and there is now a varnish stain on the arm. The wood was not evenly installed and there are large gaps around the walls. When they varnished the floors they did a poor job and there are now bubbles everywhere! Also, it was a two-coat treatment of varnish, however it was not put on well and failed to cover the wood evenly.  I had ordered for clear varnish, but based on the splashes of varnish on the walls and on the bottom of doorframes, there was a stain in the varnish. I was also unhappy that the carpet they had pulled up sat on a huge heap on my front porch for the 8 days they were in my house. A great eye sore for the poor neighbors.

When I called to discuss these issues with the owner Bryan, hung up on me and would not answer the phone when I called him back, twice. He has my money, so I'm screwed. Do not hire these men, they failed to treat my family and me well and you should NOT go through the same issues yourself.
