 + -1 moreWE CHOSE THIS ARCHITECT BECAUSE HE HAD BEEN ON THE DESIGN COMMITEE FOR ROXBOROUGH AND LIVED UP THERE. WE HAD HEARD HORROR STORIES ABOUT PEOPLE TRYING TO DESIGN A HOME AND GET IT APPROVED, SO WE THOUGHT WE WERE DOING THE RIGHT THING IN PAYING A LITTLE MORE TO AVOID HEADACHES LATER BY DEALING WITH SOMEBODY WHO KNEW. OUR INITIAL QUOTE, TO INCLUDE BLUEPRINTS, WAS ACTUALLY OVER $8K, BUT WHEN WE BECAME INVOLVED WITH MR. JOHNSON AND SAW HOW POORLY HE TREATED US, AND COULDN'T GET THE HOME WE HAD AGREED ON APPROVED BY THE ROXBOROUGH BOARD, WE TERMINATED OUR CONTRACT AND PAID ONLY THE INITIAL DEPOSIT AMOUNT. WE ENDED UP, $2K LATER, WITH A DRAWING OF THE HOUSE WE WANTED BUT COULD NOT HAVE.
Description of Work: THE ACTUAL WORK PERFORMED WAS INITIAL HOUSE DESIGNS FOR A HOME IN ROXBOROUGH PARK AND INITIAL SUBMITTAL TO THEIR DESIGN COMMITEE.
