I was lucky Bill Britton accepted the challenge. He has worked with the water department previously, recommended replacing only one section and reinforcing the repair with rebar. The whole project was done in one day, and it was beautifully organized with all the steps timed, from the machine which broke the concrete and then lifted the chunks to the waiting truck, the arrival of the water department inspector, the placing of reinforcing structure, the arrival of the concrete truck and the pouring, the leveling of concrete around the meters and matching new concrete to sections of driveway and sidewalk. And Mr. Bill Britton seemed to have friendship and respect from all the other service providers. When he finished late in the day he put up cones and tape. The job is perfect and it is a pleasure to know Mr. Britton. He began work as a carpenter and has vast experience in construction, now does mostly small construction jobs, especially concrete.
