My brother-in-law, who loved to hunt, passed away several years ago.  He wished for cremation, and for several years we kept his ashes in a plain gray box.  My wife and I decided that he deserved something better, and came up with the idea of filling several 50 caliber bullets with his ashes.  That way, each of his relatives would have their own memorial of him.  Alpine was up to the job, although I made their job more difficult by first polishing the shells with metal polish.  Because of the polish, the laser would not burn/engrave into the brass.  Once we determined what the problem was, a quick cleaning of the shells in Acetone did the trick.  The engraved shells turned out beautiful, the cost was very reasonable and the relatives were delighted.

WE HAVE USED THEM FOR NUMEROUS YEARS. THIS YEARS PRODUCT WEREN'T AS PRECISE IN THE ENGRAVING. ALSO, THEY MESSED UP ONE OF THE NAMES ON THE LIST AND WE WERE FORCED TO PAY FOR AN ADDITIONAL PIECE. WE WILL PROBABLY USE THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.
