Run, do not walk, away from this company. Gil promised me a beautiful stamped patio and what I got is a very poorly laid, uneven, noticeable sloped, messy patio. Instead of starting at the lowest point and creating an even patio, he started at the high point in the middle of the back door and slopped it out 5 inches on one side and 4 inches on the other. It was bell shaped. He said it had to slope so that water would run off. Yeah the water ran off and right into my garage because he made the patio even with the step into the garage. I placed my table on the patio and it tilted back and forth because the patio was so uneven. The worst part of my experience was that Gil and his crew insisted that they had done a quality job, that there was nothing wrong with the way they laid the patio and that I was being unreasonable. I had to fight hard with them to get them to fix just the side going towards the garage so that when it rained water would not go into the garage. As a compromise I had to give into to them not fixing the other side that sloped 4 inches. In their first attempt to fix it, they were just going to pour concrete on top of concrete to level it out. No way! Any concrete professional would tell you this is not the way to correct a problem and putting concrete on concrete would crack. They finally came back and re-laid 1/3 of the patio. When they sealed it, they streaked the finish. They said this would "fade over time", but it looks sloppy and of poor quality. Oh let's not forget to mention that when they framed up the patio, they drove a steel stake through the sprinkler line. Instead of telling me about this mistake, they covered it up by disconnecting the zone's wire in the sprinkler control panel. What a dishonest and unethical thing do to. I sent the sprinkler repair bill to Gil, who did reimburse me for the cost of the repair. After I wrote Gil a letter outlining all the problems with this project, he did offer to come back and try to correct some of the issues. But frankly after two attempts to provide me with a decent patio, I feel he is just too incompetent to make things right.
