Mortgage Companies
Overall, JP did a good job. He found me a good rate and deal for the purchase of my new house. Having said that, there were a few communication issues. He informed my realtor that our closing date would work just fine but told me there was a good chance that the appraisal would not be done in time and we might miss the date. The appraisal did get done so we actually wanted to close early. They worked hard to make this happen but failed to update my homeowners insurance prior to closing. I offered to take care of it but they said they would take care of it. When I asked why it wasn't done, they were very rude and blamed everyone else for the oversight. In general, they seemed a little unorganized or understaffed as everything was done last minute. I did get a good deal on the loan but customer service was not their strong suit.
