My sewing machine inexplicably stopped working one day. It was sewing fine on Sunday, but on Monday it wouldn't move at all - it just made a "motor-straining" noise. I couldn't turn the wheel or move the needle up and down by hand, so I called AAA to see if they could repair it. They recommended that I bring the machine in, so they could take a look at it. Upon examination, they established that the motor had seized up and gave me an estimate to repair the machine. Unfortunately, the cost to fix the motor was more than what I had paid for the machine - and was pretty close to what it would cost to replace it with a newer machine. Since my sewing machine was more than 10 years old, I decided I would rather replace it than repair it. AAA gave me a fair trade-in for my old machine, and I'm happy to report that my new sewing machine is working just fine.

I was having a bit of trouble with my sewing machine, the tension seemed off and it had actually gotten stuck the last time I used it. I called to ask AAA if they worked on Dual Sew machines and was told they weren't familiar with the name but to bring it in and they would check it out. One of the clerks, Kay, brought my machine to her work table, brought me a chair to sit next to her and checked on my machine. She opened the bottom plate, dusted it off lint and oiled the bobbin casing. She removed the needle, which we found to have a slight bend on the end and replaced it. She ran a cleaning fabric through all areas where dust could build up, then ran thread through, checked the tension and did a sample sew. It worked beautifully! I was embarrassed to think that the problem could have been caused by an unnoticed bent needle but she told me the majority of problems are just that. She was friendly, helpful, very informative (she explained how everything works, what maintenance I should do, etc.) and was a lot of fun. She helped me select some thread and new needles, explaining what applications for which they would best be used. I was there for maybe 35 minutes which included selecting thread. When she presented me her bill, I was amazed. She charged me only for the needles and thread! This was beyond what I could ever have expected. As well as a free service, she taught me, a novice, many things about caring for my machine and things to watch out for as I sew. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

They were very helpful, especially when I needed my machine back quicker than they could repair it. They loaned me a far better machine than the one they were repairing.

I purchased a new sewing machine from AAA Creative Sewing Center. I have them perform routine maintenance on my machine, plus I take it there for any & all repairs.

THE STORE WAS NICE & CLEAN. THE SALES LADY WHO TOOK MY ORDER WAS FRIENDLY AND KNEW HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST RIGHT AWAY. SHE TOOK MY ORDER FAST. WORK WAS DONE QUICKLY.
