 + -1 moreWe got bids from a number of builders. Some were very detailed, others didn't want to say more than $XX per square foot. UACC gave us a bid a little short on detail, then worked with us to flesh it out. Throughout the building process, Jeff Maddex (owner of UACC) has been creative in his approach to details as well as in his approach to the big pieces of the construction project. Can't wait to finish this house (in about the next 3-4 weeks) and start using this house.
Description of Work: General contractor on a second home we built in Chaffee County, Colorado. Helped estimate costs, build the construction budget and timetable, then managed the project start to finish. The UACC teams did all the structural work, and managed the tradesmen that did the site work, electrical, plumbing, drywall etc. Upper Arkansas Construction Co and its owner Jeff Maddex have been a pleasure to work with. I have no qualms recommending this company to anyone in the Summit and Chaffee County areas.
