We had a wonderful experience with this handyman. He did the work promptly and professionally, hauled away the branches, and made sure our property was clean and orderly throughout the process. We were at home while he worked and I do not think he took a break all day, except for lunch. We had received two other quotes for the same work, but one was $1050 and the other was $723. Joe quoted $410. We had him do some extra branches that had been hidden from sight at the time of the quotes and he only charged $40 more. Based on his excellent performance, we tipped him another $50 ($500 total) and still feel we got a real bargain. We recommended him to several neighbors - one of whom has already hired Joe to do tree trimming in her yard. We will definitely call Joe when a future need arises for the services he can provide.
Description of Work: Joe McCarthy is a one man dynamo. His card lists Carpentry, Rough & Finish, Yard Work, Chipper/Shredder, Tree Trimming, and Rototilling. Aside from the home phone number, he has a cell phone of 970-581-4521. We hired Joe to trim 5 trees and remove another tree and three stumps. He was careful to perform the work in a safe manner using ladders to reach high in the trees and ropes to carefully lower the larger cut pieces to the ground.
