Description of Work: After a construction on my house, part of my yard was gone, due to construction use. They came in, put in a new sprinkler system, laid all the pipe, put in the needed stations, then tilled and re-sodded over the damage area. Then they came in the spring and opened up the system to get it started up for the summer. four times over the summer I had questions I could not answer, Sean, the landscape director personally came out and either fixed the issue or got the people here to fix it.

Description of Work: Price was Angies list special. Service is very competent but rather pricey, even with Angies List discount.

Description of Work: 40 year old maple tree was deep root fed with fertilizer and iron.

Description of Work: I used Mountain High Tree, Lawn & Landscape Co. I last used their services in mid of October of 2011. I called them to get a sprinkler lawn blow out as there was a breeze coming.

Description of Work: They are here periodically for lawn maintenance and tree service.

Description of Work: Removed tree limbs broken in a wind storm; carted off all the resulting debris. Also have used their arborists' services (tree trimming and spraying for various pests) annually since 2007. In 2011 started using their weed-control services.

Description of Work: This is our 5th and last year with this company. The company has physically separated its irrigation department from its lawn. The irrigation department was disorganized and not very alert. They seem to have hired inexperienced workers. Sprinkler turn on last spring took 3 separate trips to our home. The workers just weren't paying attention and didn't notice broken heads, then didn't make sure areas were getting covered. The manager of this department was slow to respond to our complaints. The sprinkler turn-off was fine. Lawn Spot weed control was part of our contract, and as far as we could tell, never done. Not once. The last worker to set our sprinklers promised to have their "lawn expert" stop by to look at areas where the grass was dying back. We never heard from him. I had to call (twice) to get someone out to diagnose our problem. By the time he showed up, it was late July and the grass was really damaged. Then we discovered that one of the workers assigned to fertilize our lawn was not doing the work, but leaving the ticket on our door as though he had done the work. When I first called to report the problem, I was told that all of the fertilzer is liquid -- even the organic fertilizer! This was clearly wrong, and was later corrected by another employee. We then asked the company president/owner to call us, as were concerned over how long this had been going on, and with how many other customer accounts. The company president just refused to call us. The service was subsequently done, but with zero apology. In fact, they seemed to be defending the errant worker. Perhaps he was a relative. The president never called us. Then we got a bill that didn't correspond to any dates of service. Only after I called to complain about that this was not the way to do business did they agree to reduce our bill by a very small amount. The reduction in the bill was to account for the inconvenience and a good will gesture. But the story doesn't end there. After we agreed on a reduced invoice, they called to tell me that they did NOT agree to the reduced invoice and to pay the difference. Of course, we will pay the difference, but we have finally concluded that we can no longer trust this company. The bottom line with this company is, once you sign the contract for service, you're chopped liver.

Description of Work: I use Mountain High on a fairly regular basis for work on my sprinklers. They come out three or four times a year to start up, repair, or shut down the sprinkler system.

Description of Work: Tree trimming and removal, stump grinding and cleanup. Remove two VERY large cottonwood tree stumps (one more than a stump-approx 5" high). Remove 2 pine trees and 1 Linden. Trim one very large willow tree one Silver Maple and one Locust. Grind all stumps and haul away debris.

Description of Work: Removal of a large silver maple tree that was surrounded by power lines. The removed the tree, ground down the roots, filled the hole with dirt, and hauled away the tree remains (which they turned it into sawdust).

Description of Work: Fine prue two large maple trees in my front yard, remove deadwood 1/2" and greater/crown raise to cidty codes over street, balance the trees, reduce weight on heavy limbs and recycle all debris. These trees are over 40 years old and rather large. A neighbors ash tree had limbs grown over into my yard with some on the roof of my house. Cut from the trunk a large limb that had several branches on my roof. Cut another good sized limb while maintaining the integrity of my neighbors tree. Removed all other dead brances over my property

Description of Work: Mountain High has done all of the work on our trees for the past several years. We have ALWAYS had such wonderful service from them and been very pleased from every aspect. Because of the great work and service they have provided for us over the years, we hired Mountain High to completely re-do our entire landscaping and irrigation system. It turned out so awesome, it is absolutely gorgeous!!! We could not be more pleased... From the owner, Ralph Bronk, to Sean in the irrigation department, and all of the people we have dealt with, they are all wonderful! I can not recommend this company more highly!!! You can't go wrong using this company.

Description of Work: Two men who came in a truck with a cherry-picker trimmed two large trees, a Green Ash in the front yard and a Maple in the back yard. Both trees are about 25 years old.

Description of Work: Our 40-yr. old locust tree had never been professionally pruned and was badly in need of shaping and removal of dead branches and twigs. The crew arrived exactly on time, took care not to trample the ground cover plants under the tree, did an outstanding job, and cleaned up all the debris. The neighbors are impressed by the tree's new look. We were also pleased to receive the senior discount.
