I would use them again.

The Garage needed to match our house per our covenants. It turned out beautifully. Half brick with 5 large windows. 2x6 construction. Engineered trusses. Two garage doors with openers. Gutters, electrical, really a nice turn key setup. The large bay has a 14 foot overhead door to allow an RV and the smaller bay has a single car 8 foot garage door. All of Jerry's contractors were friendly and easy to work with. They treated my property with respect. The group that did the brick work were amazing and the brick work looks great. Matches the style and layout of our house perfectly.We had a couple of minor issues at the final walk through but Jerry had nearly all of them fixed before we were done. We have one window with a crack in it that is on order and Jerry's crew should have that changed out next week.I would recommend Jerry to build a garage for anyone and of any size and style. Great guy to work with, great quality build garage.

I could not have been happier with this experience.  We received 3 bids, and Jerry's was right in line.  He had to tear down an old brick garage and build a new, much larger garage.  The tear down was the most difficult part, but Jerry was very clear all along about the difficulty with permitting and the resource constraints with the demo team.

Once the demo was done, the rest of the project took 2 1/2 to 3 weeks.  Jerry was incredibly responsive, and very accommodating to some changes we wanted to make along the way.  The quality of the work is fantastic, and the garage looks great.  I would highly, unequivocally recommend Jerry and Republic garages.

The contract was scheduled for completion within 4 to 8 weeks of signing the contract. Fourteen weeks later they got the final inspection from the city. There seemed to be a bit of miscommunication between the office, field and sub-contractors as to progress and payment for services. This resulted in seemingly excessive phone calls and text messages on what should have been a straightforward project. That said, the carport turned out well

I have nothing but good things to say about the workmen who Jerry provided, especially his masons. I think the finished product is a very good garage, and I love it. Jerry's quote came in very similar to another quote we received once we had it apples to apples, so I think he was very close on price. I felt a lot of trust in Jerry's experience, and that's why I went with him. When we confirmed we were using Jerry in June we knew demo permits were maybe 6-12 weeks out and I would not count that against Republic's timeline - it is what it is with the city. I have less than stellar things to say about the communication, timeline, and overall process. Out of the 10-12 times we discussed the project and progress (or lack there-of), I reached out to them 90% of the time, even as we were weeks and months over the original timeline. I'd made a drawing that would never hold up in a permit application, but definitely showed what my wife and I were expecting out of this garage. And that drawing clearly never made it to the guys doing the work as a window was missed, a request for a lengthy wall in one spot was ignored, and at one point workmen dug up good grass in order to put in a sidewalk to nowhere that wasn't requested. Friends who signed with a different garage contractor for the exact same 1 car tear down to 2 car new build had their job completed 2 months faster. After I expressed my frustrations twice, Jerry admitted that this wasn't the way their jobs normally ran and was willing to compensate me for the mistakes in the process. Without that good discussion I was on my way to leaving a poor review - but everyone makes mistakes and he was open and honest about the ones made here. I'm very pleased with the finished product. I'd maybe hesitate to recommend to a friend, but I think I probably would.

Jerry’s the best! When I called, he came right out to take a look and made some great suggestions. He then got me scheduled right away in order to meet my short deadline. We made it with a day to spare and it would not have happened without Jerry. I looked at some other shed places that I found less communicative and less helpful, plus I like the sheds Jerry has better. Speaking of the sheds, if a shed can actually be lovely then these are. They are of good quality, plus well built. Even though I went with a basic style, there are other styles and colors available I would have liked to try had my schedule not been so tight. If you think the cost is a bit pricy, I did too, but prices are really very competitive and the product plus service places the cost in the perfectly acceptable category. There’s no need to review any more. Republic Garages is the best for all your shed and garage needs. Thank you, Jerry. My two new sheds are great.

Great. Very responsive. Great workmanship. Almost all subs were great to work with - except electrical who didn't pay attention to what we wanted and ultimately didn't do what he was supposed to do. Jerry, the owner, is friendly and easy to work with.

This work was done over a year ago and I have been meaning to write a review--only now getting to it. We have done many projects on our 90 year old house and, unfortunately, our contractors have been frequently unreliable, not thorough and generally lacked attention to detail. Not so with Jerry/Republic Garages. Republic did excellent work and we could not be more pleased. We initially called around for a few estimates for our garage and went out and checked on nearby completed garages by Republic and by the competitors. The Republic garages looked to be in better shape and were weathering the Colorado climate better. Jerry came out to our house immediately to give us an in-person quote. He was knowledgeable as well as friendly and gregarious. His quote was a bit more than the other guys but was absolutely worth it.

The demolition and construction of our garage went very smoothly. Jerry was around fairly frequently and his crew was courteous and kept our back yard clean. Our neighbors also commented on the friendliness of the workers. We had a few glitches here and there and Jerry was always available by phone, he returned calls promptly. He never made me feel like I was bothering him with questions or concerns and small changes were readily accommodated, again without grumbling or pushback. This was, by far, the most pleasant project we have had done around our house. I highly recommend Jerry/Republic Garages--you will not be disappointed!

PS: Re-reading my review I almost sound like I was paid to write this--I wasn't! It was just a great experience as far as home improvements go....

Jerry is very knowledgable and stopped by several times to discuss the project, ensuring I got what I wanted. The demo went really well and the construction was quick. There were a couple of concerns I had during construction and Jerry either ensured they were address or came out and took care of them himself.

We are very pleased with the final result! We had an architect draft the plans and had 3 bids for the stand alone building. Jerry was the lowest of the 3 bids and then worked with us to lower the overall cost below his initial bid by making some changes to the original plans. Jerry's sub contractors are very knowledgeable and most have worked with him for many years. The structure itself went up very quickly, but due to multiple inspections, it was finished about 6 weeks later than anticipated. The building is completely finished with insulation, drywall, massive amounts of electric and wiring for computers as well as heat and air conditioning. The building serves as both a storage and motorcycle garage as well as an art studio with impressive awning windows across a 17 foot high building and a roll-up electric garage door with a remote. It has extra wide doors between the garage and the studio and a security door and glass door from the studio to the back yard. Because of the high ceiling, Jerry installed a loft which provided additional storage and he did so for no extra cost. He was very agreeable to all of our requests along the way, which were numerous. It is a beautiful structure and we have received many positive comments. My only suggestion for other homeowners wanting to build a multiple use structure is to ask to be informed of changes made to the original agreement. Jerry made a substitute for the heating/cooling only to discover after its installation that the unit installed shuts down heat below an exterior temperature of 17 degrees. Jerry immediately resolved this by installing baseboard heating system in the studio at no extra cost. Since I researched everything down to the light fixtures, had I known in advance of the substitution the mistake would have been avoided. Also, phone calls rather than text or e-mail work best for communication. Jerry is very responsive to phone calls and even answered our calls on his vacation. Text messages only worked for one line of brief communication.

Jerry first provided an estimate on 3/29/2013. We received bids from five different contractors and selected Republic for competitive prices, customer service, prompt communication, and design collaboration.
We took three months to review many different designs and options, and Jerry was very patient in providing revised bids. Jerry suggested beetle-kill pine as a siding alternative that would give the building some character. We drove around and looked at other garages built by Republic and we were impressed with the quality of work,
and the look of the beetle-kill.
On July 10th work started. Workers were punctual, friendly and professional. Jerry was very responsive to the few issues that came up.
Garage was completed in five weeks. We're thrilled with the craftsmanship and know we made the right choice of design and contractor.

They did really nice work.. The guys had to make last minute adjustments to fit our RV but were able to come up with a solution. The final product came out just as Jerry estimated. I would use them again.

Jerry and his team came and rescued us after we were taken by dishonest contractor.  He picked up the pieces, worked with the county and gave us a beautiful garage.  We couldn't have been happier.

The process was almost without any problems.  Everything was fast and timely.  At the end, there was a minor issue, and Jerry had it resolved without question in a day.  the overall quality is good, and was exactly what we contracted for.
Jerry came to our house and provided the first estimate very quickly.  He is friendly and professional.  We then took our time and asked for several different configurations, which he promptly provided.  We waited several months before making the decision, and we got several estimates from other providers.  The Republic Garages estimate was in the middle of the other 2.  Because Jerry struck us as trustworthy, we took his bid and decided not to try to negotiate further.  It was a good decision because we got exactly what we contracted for.

The project went very smoothly. It stared when stated it would start and each phase of construction went very smoothly. The entire project took about 3.5 weeks.

Called Jerry from Angie's list recommendations. He came out the same day. Gave a bid, same day.  He was extraordinarily responsive both via phone and email throughout the process.
I had a two car garage with two garage bays separated by a center pillar. The way the garage is angled and with the center pillar, it rendered the second bay impossible to park a car in...so we decided to rip out the pillar, add a micro-lam and have a custom single door made. Jerry worked with the garage door company with dimensions and delivery date. He then scheduled his guys to come do the work. He got rid of the old doors and hardware, contacted the city for permit, contacted the engineer for engineer scope and approval. He installed the doors and the new garage door opener. Completely clean job. All in and out in the time he told me for exactly the price he told me.
I LOVE it when a plan comes together in these kind of remodeling services. There are  way too many who don't come through as promised. I am excited to have a garage that works and a team of professionals that required exactly zero babysitting!

After the cement was poured and had a few days to cure, the construction went very quickly.  There was more time in between crews coming than them doing the work.  They were very fast and professional on the job.

Great experience -- they poured concrete for the pad and some missing sidewalk, built a brand new garage, installed doors, electrical etc.  All of it was done on time and with no hassle. They came in exactly on budget,  and dealt with the Denver city inspectors with no problems.

He flimflammed me, had in his contract I can't sue him, unless I pay for the attorney, which will probably cost about $10,000.  I want to put in a report about him, am building a case against him, I've got proof, he lied about everything.  I haven't put in a garage, because I would have to hit the house or garage when I pull in and out, I would have to backup, forward, backup, forward, and hit the house.  I am not paying him another penny, I gave him every penny I had, I feel he has done this to others, and want people to know.  The city approved it, but, I have to go back to them to get it condemned, as my attorney suggests.  I can't cover anything else unless it costs more, so I've just decided to put him out of business.  I have to video it and document the case.  If I get it tore out and fixed, it would cost at least cost $19,000.  When I hired him, I was sick, he took advantage of me, looked me straight in the eye, and lied.  I want to be able to prove everything, I have already one contractor that said I have enough evidence to go to the Better Business Bureau.  He is on Angie's List, but, I don't want him to hurt anyone else, again.  He put in a concrete foundation 10 feet away from the easement, he said the city required it, they didn't, but, so cheated my out of 5 feet of concrete.  I was supposed to have an RV pad on the northside, the driveway is useless, I can pull my car in, but, it's terrible getting in and out.  The placement was all wrong, he used a cement thing, put the stabilizer foot on my sidewalk, cracked it, made an 18 x 12 hole, he said he didn't do it, he finally fixed it, but only patched it.  They did everything wrong, lied about it, broke the sidewalk, put in an illegal patch, broke my window wall coverings, which were old, and left with my broom.  He's not a decent man, is a flimflam man, I told him I wanted Americans to be hired, he had nothing but Mexicans, and only one of them spoke broken English.  I am going to the Better Business Bureau and hope to have his head on a platter.  I know I will never get my money back, even if he offered me to fix it, I wouldn't trust him, and wouldn't even let him walk my dog. 

All workers were extremely professional, skilled, organized, friendly, and responsive when we made some last minute changes to the plan. They worked quickly and communicated with us very well at all stages of the project. I couldn't imagine a better experience.

Jerry, of Republic, came out and gave estimates for the work.
He offered to give us more in his estimate than other companies (i.e. electrical, garage door, lighting)
The coordination of the start date was a bit confusing due to a lack of clarification with the necessary check-offs (i.e. locations of cables, etc.)
The job progressed very smoothly and even decided to extend our initial project by adding the driveway.
The final minor adjustments I asked for, Republic Garages attended to immediately.
We are thoroughly satisfied! 

I have friends who have built 2 garages now using Republic. Great company & I'd use them again.
