Deck was completely peeling within 6 months. I called to complain and he said that is what will happen with old deck that isn't regularly treated. But if have put home depot thick deck paint on decks before and it lasts years. Also, if he knew it would only last 6 months with stain why would he even do it? Very unscrupulous. Stay away!

I loved the finished product! My rooms look better than I could have hoped. Professional, knowledgeable, respectful and accommodating crew. Reasonable price for great quality.

From the initiation, I was very impressed with Pappas Painting expertise and professionalism. Staff was very communicative and helpful the entire time. Eric came out for an initial walkthrough and estimate. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, I could tell he was an expert and trustworthy. A few weeks later him and his team came out to complete the work and did a phenomenal job. They knocked it out in a couple days and the results were phenomenal! Ryan was extremely helpful in working around a few scheduling changes that came up on our end and his communication and customer support is what one hopes for when working with a company that is coming into your home. Saul and his team did an amazing job. They were on time, professional and efficient. They took no shortcuts, making sure to tape everything off and remove fixtures for a professional and seamless paint job. The team cleaned up all the old paint and tape and walked through the final job twice to make sure we were happy with the results. I cannot recommend this company enough. We will absolutely use them again for any home painting needs.

The Pappas team doesn’t disappoint! From the estimate, to the scheduling and the duration of the project, they were easy to talk to, great at communicating and were very professional. They did a fantastic job and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!

Pappas painted our entire home interior (ceiling, walls, trim). We got quotes from three painting companies and chose Pappas based on the glowing reviews, quality promised by Frank (owner), and price landing right in the middle. We very much regret not choosing one of the other companies, as we had a terrible experience with Pappas, are out a lot of money, and now have to live with our home looking worse than it did before they painted. Pappas was not respectful of us or our home, and from the moment the work actually started, working with them has been a frustrating headache. Because I work from home and we have two pets, we packed everyone up and went out of town while the painters were in our house. We took a whole week off work because Frank said the job would take 5-6 days. Well, the painters rushed and did it in 4 days, and we came home to a trashed house and terrible paint job. That required Pappas to send in a second crew the following week for three days of “corrections” throughout the house. They promised to fix everything and make the job right. However, no amount of time can fix a bad paint job, especially when most of the painters are not great to begin with and don’t know how to do a good job. Even after three days of additional work, our house still looks bad. The only way to “fix” it now would be to replace the trim and flooring, and repaint the whole thing. What was so wrong? First, our house was wrecked when we got home. The painters were supposed to use one bathroom, but we came home (after driving 16 hours across the country) to all three bathrooms being completely disgusting (covered in urine and body hair). The rest of the house was equally filthy, with dirt everywhere, sinks and showers full of paint, windows left open, smears on all the windows, nails in the carpet, etc. They got paint on our carpet (actual footprints!), wood floor, tile floor, multiple light fixtures, outlet covers, cabinets, windows, mirrors, appliances, furniture, faucets, countertops, hinges, and doorknobs. The paint job itself was poor to average. It was clear they took a lot of shortcuts and did not prep properly. They promised to tape and caulk all transition lines, repair minor drywall damage, protect flooring, remove outlet and plate covers, remove fixtures, etc. However, these things did not consistently happen. Most of the transition lines are uneven, some outlet and register covers were actually painted to the wall, there was paint on multiple fixtures (thankfully they were able to remove it), paint on the floor along the trim, wall paint on the trim and ceiling, etc. The job does not look clean at all due to their sloppy work and lack of attention to detail. We find new paint problems every day, and it’s infuriating. Ryan promised us a “significant” discount due to the poor work and the huge inconvenience. He acknowledged that the job we hired them to do was not done, even after the “corrections”. He wanted to avoid us writing a "six page negative review" (his words). However, when it came time to settle the bill, he instead tried to just give us little credits for some of the damages they did to our house. We reminded him he had promised us a discount, and he decided that he could only take a few hundred dollars off because Pappas had their own expenses to cover from this job (which is NOT the customer’s problem!). It ended up being around a 10% discount. Ridiculous. It’s going to cost us much more to fix what they’ve done. While I’m sure they would have been willing to send the crew back in for more attempts at corrections, we had zero confidence that things would look better, based on most of the “corrections” the second crew had attempted. Plus, we needed them to be out of our house (even though Angel and Juan were extremely nice!) so we could start moving back in and I could work again. Obviously, we do NOT recommend Pappas Painting. We are incredibly disappointed with the quality of work and overall experience.

I (and members of my family) have used Pappas Painting & Repair for 5 major projects, both interior and exterior. From the first phone call with Ryan, to the estimate with owner Frank, to Eric, Saul and the professional crew that completed the job, they are outstanding! They are honest, punctual, hardworking, and the quality of their work is excellent. I would NEVER use another contractor. I have some very high windows in the back of my home that had woodpecker holes around them that needed repair. They went above and beyond on tall ladders on a very windy day to accomplish the work, even repeating the process TWICE when the woodpeckers returned. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Pappas Painting & Repair is absolutely the best painting company in Denver and a pleasure to work with!!

If "the devil is in the details". This crew were angels ! The prep work was meticulous, and took twice as long as the painting. Hence, a beautiful paint job both inside and out. Not one errant drop of paint. Crew was timely, courteous, and pleasant.

We recently had our house exterior painted by Pappas Painting and they did a great job. Frank, the owner has been painting for many years and personally did the estimate walkthrough and asked the right questions. Other companies were not as thorough and gave an estimate based only on the listed square footage of the house. His estimate considered the individual items that needed to be painted on our mainly brick house only needing siding painted. When the house was painted the prep work was the most important part, which included thoroughly caulking and repairing the siding. The exisiting siding was cracked and peeling from exposure to Colorado's climate. The paint job was completely quickly and professionally. Definitely recommend.

Pappas was fabulous, from the initial quote to the final product. They scheduled the project around our move, which was great. I am a perfectionist and I honestly had very little touch-up to request of them. Even my neighbors commented to me about how respectful the painters were while working on the outside of the house. Would definitely use them again.

I can't say enough about this company. From start to finish they were so professional and organized. Frank and Tony guided me through the process and were available throughout the job. Juan and his crew did an excellent job of navigating an extremely busy household. They respected our space and were easy to have in our home. I will absolutely have them back to do other parts of my house and would recommend them highly.

I used to paint for a living so it was hard to hire someone to do it for me. From the beginning of obtaining the estimate, all the way to the clean-up we were impressed with this company. They were professional, returned my calls in a timely manner, were always there when they said they would be, they followed our instructions for what needed painted and what color, and did an amazing job! We had Chuy and his crew painted multiple rooms and our kitchen cabinets. This is the second job we have had done and will absolutely hire them again if there are any future painting needs. Chuy is fantastic and does amazing work. We are in the process of showing our house to sell it and have gotten several compliments on the painting of the house.

I cannot say enough good things about the job that Pappas did repainting the exterior of my little 1890 bungalow in Denver. Everything from the estimated to the work being done went smoothly, dependably and with real attention paid to customer satisfaction. The painting crew as meticulous in prepping this old house for the paint job, and paint job itself looks fantastic. Clean up was immaculate. The crew did their work with a minimum of interference, and was just friendly and pleasant to have around the house. I highly recommend Pappas. I had them paint the interior trim of this same house about two years ago. The same comments apply!

I would highly recommend Pappas Painting. They did an excellent job. They were patient during the entire bid process as I changed my mind on colors a number of times. They're painting was excellent (I have used many painters over the years). The painting crew was always on time, professional, and accommodating to all my requests. Very, very, well. Tony, who came to give us the estimate was really helpful, explaining how things would go, and answering every question we threw at him. We were so pleased that one of the services offered by the firm was moving our furniture during the painting process. We would have found that very difficult to do ourselves, as I am a senior and my son, the home owner uses a wheelchair. We had to delay the start date of the painting several times, due to other work that was being done on the house, running way over schedule. Pappas painting were so patient with this, and were happy to accommodate us. The two painters, Jorge, and David, who were assigned to do the job, were polite and courteous, they made sure that everything was masked off and covered, and that painting supplies kept out of our way. They were amazing with our two yappy little dogs! We had just had our hardwood floors refinished and they took particular care to see that everything was protected. All in all, we were delighted with the service we received.

pappas fit us into the schedule very quickly since we needed the work done immediately. we appreciated them working with us on our tight schedule. chuy and victor we professional, efficient, and communicative. basically...awesome. the work was done quickly and with high quality.
