Everything went smoothly. I left a message for Glen on a Saturday and heard back from him first thing on Monday morning. He came out later that afternoon and gave me a fair estimate for two different garage door openers. I chose the higher end model and he scheduled the work for Wednesday the same week. On Wednesday, I arrived at my house around 1:30 at the time he scheduled for me. Glen and his son were already there and were nearly finished with their work (note: I had given permission to enter my garage without me being around). They also repaired some loose garage door molding without me asking. They must have adjusted and lubricated the door and rollers as well since the door opens and closes much smoother and quieter. Overall, I am very pleased with their work.

All went well. I had plenty of options on when to schedule service. When he arrived he was nice and informative. He did the work thouroughly, yet quickly. Our garage works smoother and quieter! He put a sticker with his company info below our garage door opener switch. Perfect for me, because it will be handy next time I need a tuneup!

The services from Kirby's Door Service went fine. He completed the job today. It was an one hour installation, they just installed a brand new garage door opener. We are very satisfied with it. They are very prompt, honest, easy to work with, on time, courteous, just perfect people. The garage door that they installed has a life cycle of 25 years so it is not likely that I will be replacing it again.

After getting estimates from a couple of other companies, we decided to go with Kirby's Door Service. The price was good and Glen seemed to understand our needs the best of anyone we contacted. He was knowledgeable, patient and willing to work with us on coordinating this job with our siding contractor for the best result. I love my new garage doors and would definitely recommend Kirby's Door Service.

I recently had one of the springs on my garage door break, rendering the door unusable and jammed part of the way open.  As always, I started researching DIY solutions on the internet and after watching several YouTube videos, I came to the conclusion that the job was a bit more than I was willing to tackle.  The first place I called was Kirby's Door Service.  The owner listened to my issue and understood my concerns about the temperature dropping and snow in the forecast and was confident that he had the parts in stock.  Later that afternoon, he arrived at the house, took the old springs off and replaced them with new springs.  He took the time to make sure the door was properly adjusted, checked the rollers and lubricated the moving parts.  And the job was done - no surprises.  I keep him at the to of my list for garage door issues.  The very next day I shared this story with a co-worker in need of garage door repair and he was very pleased with his work as well.  When it is time for a new opener or garage door, I will definitely call Kirby's.

It went fine. He came out and replaced the garage door opener. It took him about an hour. He was super nice. He was a bit late due to traffic, I wished that he would have given me a heads up phone call, but when he came it was quick. He was very apologetic about that. When we had questions, he answered them and he was very polite. It has been working ever since. I purchase the deal on the weekend, he called me on Monday morning. I gave him some appointments that would work best for me, and he made that availability work.

My garage door was extremely loud before tune up. He fixed it within 10 minutes & did not try to find any other problems that did not exist. It is working great now & very quiet. I would definitely use his services again in the future! 

Never even met him, but my garage door was working beautifully when I got home and has been ever since.

I wrote an earlier review re Glenn missing an appt due to putting it on a different date on his calendar.  Like I said, he was very apologetic and offered us a discount because of the error.  We have since had our doors installed and they are absolutely beautiful.  Not only is Glenn such a nice guy, but the installation looks great, everything works well, and he did a good job on cleaning up.  Very pleased.

Due to its A+ rating, Kirby Door Service was the first company I called and they gave me a general estimate over the phone and said to call them back after I had received other estimates. My impression was that they were too busy to come out. It seemed that they either did not want or did not have the time for my business. I was not impressed at all. I did get two other A rated companies who came over and provided onsite evaluations and estimates. I thought both were very professional, provided reasonable estimates, and were interested in the work. When I called Kirby back they agreed to come over and were professional and polite. I conveyed my frustration with their approach and they basically said trust us, we have an A+ rating. They emailed me a final estimate. Bottom line was that their estimate was the lowest and my husband and I decided to hire Kirby..Then, when arranging a time to do the install, Kirby asked me whether Tuesday or Wednesday would work. I told them Wednesday and then later they told me that they were coming on Tuesday. I was rather surprised and frustrated since I could not be available that day. So Kirby adjusted their schedule and came on Thursday. They were punctual and polite and very neat. Their actual hands-on work was fine. 

Glen was very friendly, knowledgeable, and cost conscious. He wanted to give me the best operating garage doors possible, with out costing me a lot of money or unnecessary replacement parts.

They were good and fixed everything.  They did as they said and it wasn’t expensive.  The price was fair and reasonable.  I will use them again in the future.

From the first scope of the job appointment through to completion Kirby always kept me informed as to when they would arrive and when they did they were completely professional. I would recommend them completely. The only reason for the B in quality was due to door manufacturer's inattention to packing the proper parts - which Kirby jumped on and resolved. They even resolved a door seal problem by coming out after the door was installed to install a new and larger bottom door seal.

They had the best price after I called around.  They were quick, and their price was cheap.  They finished the work.  My garage door opener is still working.

went very well. Got an on site estimate and scheduled the replacement for just a few days later. They arrived on time and replaced the door in the couple of hours that was estimated.  All remnants of the previous door were hauled away and disposed of. 

I received a prompt reply to my inquiry regarding the repair of my garage door motor.  An estimated price, given y description of the problem was provided.  Upon physical inspection, the price and time for installation of a new motor and drive was set.  Kirby took the time to describe the alternative types of drive(s) and his own recommendation.  he was not pushy and indicated that, since my motor had mysteriously begun working again, I might want to wait until it quit working permanently.  Given that it was 20 years old and used multiple times daily, I opted to have it replaced. The work was competed quickly and correctly by this father/son team.  They explained trhe operation of this particular unit as it was different from the one that I replaced. I have had no problems with the new equipment and I did receive a senior discount as mentioned in Kirby's ad....without having to ask for it. I would use them again.

They were really good!  They were prompt and honest.  I have no complaints.  The job turned out good.

The same day I called for help, Glenn (owner) came out himself around 5 pm and replaced both springs on my garage door. He had the repair done in about an hour. Now it operates fine (for a really old door) and is also considerably more quiet. Overall, the experience went very well. I thought the charge was a little high, but I really don't know how much garage repairs normally run so it may have been about right.
