Their prices are fair and they agreed to come back to repair some minor damage caused by the company that followed up with the painting of the cabinets. This is huge for me as I was really worried when I saw the damage. I highly recommend this company and will be using them on a second unit remodel. I hired to have the fiber glass basin of a shower refinished, but to also have the same basin firmed up first - a flood had caused whatever is beneath it to move/sift away. Interaction at the estimate appointment was really good. The owner is easy with conversation and we discussed many projects and he offered good tips - a natural handyman. I can't recall the name of the person who actually completed the job, but he was a very respectful Southern gentleman, and did a beautiful job - highly skilled. I literally gasped when I saw it. The only reason I gave a 3.5 on customer service is because the repair person hadn't been notified/scheduled for the non-refinishing parts of the job. In the end, everything was done, but the communication issue caused some difficulty in completing the job (explaining the plan again, tools unavailable, re-ensuring price, longer job). The final affect was not on me, but the worker, who remained as nice as could be through the whole thing. I'm just sympathetic to what would have been very frustrating for me in that situation. Also, follow up calls for next projects didn't happen as stated. In the end, I would rehire, but feel the need to make a confirmation call the day before scheduled to ensure we were on the same page.

I hired GetAGrip to refinish/paint all the cabinets in my house (kitchen and 3 bathrooms). It was a large project since I have 55 cabinets and 20 drawers in my house. I had honey oak finished cabinets and I selected a gray color for the kitchen and a similar color for the bathrooms. It took them about 10 days overall to complete the project (I was not home when they did the work, the smell is bad and they had to disassemble all the cabinets and move out all the appliances). Overall I am happy with the job and I like how the cabinets look in my home. I would recommend GetAGrip if you are looking to get your cabinets refinished. Pros: - Nice durable product and even color - Helpful suggestions on colors and what to have finished - Kept on schedule - Overall great look - Came in to address “punch list” quickly and effectively - Very friendly crew Cons: - Severely underquoted initial bid (30% difference) - Problems with not returning calls or showing up at scheduled times - Uneven finish to the product, some areas are shiny and others are flat - Care taken with my home (things were left dirty, sliding door left unlocked, overspray and scratched refrigerator) - Attention to detail, punch list had ~20 items, most should have been noticed by the crew

The company is very efficient and professional. They came out quickly and gave me a quote and then were patient with me until I was ready to resurface the bathtub. They did a great job on a pretty old beat up cast iron tub. I would highly recommend them.

Never had a tub resurfaced before. I think you could find someone to do it slightly cheaper, but these guys did ours on very short notice. They did a great job. The tub looks amazing. Cleaned up all mess the next day and there was no damage or over spray to any of the bathroom interior. The are pros, and know what they're doing.

These guys, John and John, are very dedicated to good customer service, and they worked around my schedule to get my kitchen cabinets repainted. There was a bit of a delay in getting the cabinet doors and drawers back on because they were a bit backed up in their spraying facility (which indicates how busy they are!), but they have gone the extra mile to accommodate me. John even came back to take one little cabinet door in for redoing when it showed a couple of paint bubbles - he wants his work to be excellent and I respect that. They were meticulous in their site preparation of my kitchen, taking about 6 hours to mask and cover everything in my kitchen that wasn't a cabinet, and it only took about half an hour to spray the cabinet bases after that. I appreciate the care they took with my hardwood floors, and they even cleaned under the stove and fridge when they moved them out.

5 stars would be given for everything..but there was a tiny bit of overspray, I mean very tiny onto a piece of tile in our bathroom.

I never received the care instructions via e-mail that I was told I would receive, The man that did the work was very friendly and professional, The estimator was on time and knew what he was talking about! The work on the 2nd day was done very professionally, My only problem was not receiving after care instructions,

They take their time to make sure you are happy and satisfied with your tub. My clawfoot bathtub is beautiful. It looks brand new.
