Doug obviously knew what he was doing. Very skilled and he worked extra hard because we also needed to install a proper gas line and remove concrete. For the time he spent, his price was very reasonable.

We had our three-sided fireplace cleaned by Fireside Design. The fireplace looks amazing. I had no idea that it could ever look that clean. The employee was professional, arrived on time, was very knowledgeable, and the work was completed within the estimated timeframe. My only problem with the service was the noxious smell that came off of the fireplace after we turned it back on. I have no idea what cleaning agent was used on it, but the smell was really bad for several days afterward, leaving my throat feeling swollen and my eyes burning. If you're sensitive to chemical odors, I would check with them first to make sure that you can replace their traditional cleaning agent with something more natural, if possible.

Great job cleaning our fireplace. It was a mess and unsafe. Now it's clean and can't wait till we use it and safely. Very knowledgeable and exact.

I hired Doug to repair a leak in my chimney and service my fireplace. He did an absolutely thorough job and stuck to his estimate. Showed me exactly what was wrong and was very knowledgeable.

Remained in contact during the waiting period I had for the Home Owner's Association. Provided a clear analysis of the job and solid estimate for the work to be done.

Showed up 30 min late. I would have been ok but he never called to let me know he would be late. Work he did was good and he cleaned up after himself.

Doug did a fantastic job cleaning my gas fireplace and positioning the logs for maximum visual effect and efficiency. We had a strong sense that we had hired someone who really knew their stuff and we will make use of him again when we need this service.

Doug was great! My elderly mother "supervised" the repairs and reported he was timely, respectful, thorough and effective! He does charge slightly more than other pros we were matched with. However, I truly believe it was well worth it! He took apart the insert, cleaned it, repaired it, painted parts of it. Doug went well beyond expectations and we are now enjoying our insert again.We had been advised by other pros that replacement of the insert was needed. Clearly not when dealing with the right pro!

Very professional service. My first service did not expose a gas leak though and I had to have them come back. They did get it all squared away before selling my home.

Doug not only solved the problem with my old gas log stove, but cleaned it so well both inside and out that the stove purchased in 1994 looks brand new. His work was so meticulous, and the stove works so much better than it has in years that I've already recommended Fireside Design to two friends who are thinking of installing similar fireplace inserts and stoves in their homes at some future point. I also plan to hire Doug again for both maintenance, and for a fireplace insert I expect to install at a later date.

Doug is a great talent! He rebuilt our gas fireplace, it was a big job and it came out beautifully. Tile, ornate woodwork, paint, etc all was done perfectly, we have used the fireplace every day since.

Fireside did a very professional job and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
