 + -1 moreThis company was great to work with. Jeff and Greg are the two that assisted me the most. They are very knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions, of which there were a lot, and help me find the stair lift that is best for me. They have a variety of lifts that also come with a variety of prices, of course, and they did not try to sell me the most expensive lift as some companies might. They hooked me up with a local person, whom they said was one of their best, to install the lift. The lift comes with installation instructions but I wasn't willing to go that route..leave it up to a professional, I say. This person does the lifts aside from his day job, usually on weekends. He charged an additional $400 for the installation. The installation only took a couple hours. Don't be afraid that this company is based in Colorado. If you are in the Columbus area it will work out great. I can't say anything about other areas, of course. Also, they have an Angie's List discount.
Description of Work: Installed a straight stair lift to the 2nd floor of my house.

Description of Work: They sold my dad (in Nebraska) an Acorn stairlift and provided an installer (separate cost but included in the price above) from nearer his home. Both the salesman and the installer were polite and helpful, willingly answered any question, and responded quickly to emails and phone calls. |Dad received a 5% discount because I mentioned Angie's List.

 + -1 moreThey were outrageously expensive, so we didn't use them. It was a free quote. They were very kind and they were probably comparable to most of the businesses that do this, but we found someone locally that could do it at a lower price. They were very good, they were just way overpriced.
Description of Work: We contacted Ascent Stairlifts for an estimate. We have a stairlift in our condominium, and it needed repair, so we were trying to have it repaired, or replaced with a new one or a refurbished one.
