Stans technicians are knowledgable, and they are willing to let you know if you should go somewhere else.
They have been honest and get work done on time.

This was the 90,000 mile service for my car.  They checked everything and made a list of items that needed to be done.  This included a brake job, new plugs and wires, and transmission flush.  They suggested the brake pads needed to be replaced right away but the plugs and wires and transmission flush could wait until the next service, to break up the expense, or they could do everything at once, my choice.  They did what I asked, for the quoted price, and had the car done after work, when they said they would.
Previously, I had a transmission oil pan that was bent from hitting something in the road.  They quoted me two different prices and timelines: one if they could fix it by replacing the gasket, and one if they had to replace the pan after special ordering it.  They were able to fix the leak by replacing the gasket.
I haven't compared their rates to those of other shops.
I am always impressed by the professional attitude at this shop.  They are good about communicating the problem, the work they will do, and the price before starting work.  I can and do recommend them.

They did a routine, road-readiness service on my 1994 diesel pick-up. They gave me a thorough review of the work that was needed immediately - and work that could be deferred. What was best about Stan's was that they were willing to admit what they didn't know about diesels - and referred me to an excellent diesel service location rather than trying to do something they didn't think they were qualified to do.

They're great. They're not necessarily inexpensive but they don't do anything that you don't need to have done and they do everything properly and quickly. There's nothing they don't do well including take you to wherever you need to go, pick you up, and provide you snacks. They do great work.

My wife and I have used Stan's several times over the last few years for our 2003 Nissan Xterra and 2007 Pontiac Vibe. Most recently, one of the Vibe's fuel injectors stuck open, flooding the cylinder with gas and effectively disabling the car. We had the Vibe towed to Stan's, who relatively quickly diagnosed the issue and recommended what was needed to address the problem.
As the overall recommendations were to change the oil, fuel system clean, and check the catalytic converter the price for service started to climb somewhat quickly. They were very helpful in working with me to lower the overall bill by advising me on performing some of the work myself (such as the oil change and fuel system clean).
The next time we have a preventative issue or acute problem crop up we'll be running our cars by Stan's.

They are a family run business. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about older and newer cars. They have helped me with everything from a 1965 Volkswagen microbus all the way to my 2001 model car. They are reasonably priced and super friendly. They are very careful with explaining to me about all my options.

I really trust STAN'S AUTOMOTIVE. Their facility is always neat and clean. They just seem really organized and well prepared and knowledgeable.

They did a good job. I would probably use them again if I needed to.

It is a family owned business.  It is a well known local company. They are known to do an honest job. I have been going there since I was driving an old Toyota truck.  They give quality work and they don?t up sell to you.  I trust them.  It is very clean.  They have a nice comfortable waiting room.  It is bright and no smell of grease or oil.  I would use them in the future.   You pay for what you get.   They don?t find extra things wrong with your car. I bought the tires there so you get free tire rotation.  They do have such offers.

They are located close by. I have been to them a couple of times. They seem to be friendly and comfortable. I rate them high overall.

They were able to fit me in before I took the car on a long trip. I have been happy with the work they have done for me over the past year.

Sitting in a drive thru I noted my car started smoking and heard water hitting the blacktop. I drove the car a mile back to the office and then left it there until I could deal with the issue the next day. I looked to see if hoses were broke. They were not. I noted the coolant cap loose and a notably lack of coolant, but could figure out how to open the coolant to add more and was concerned that there could be a bigger problem for the coolant cap to blow. I drove the car to Stan's the next afternoon at lunch time and explained my dilemma. The service was spectacular. The service tech and the front desk associate were both very friendly and asked the questions needed to determine if I had a major problem. When they determined I did not they explained exactly what they though the issue was and how to prevent it in the future. Honest and friendly service, that will definitely keep me coming back.

This was my first time with them and they are a professional bunch of people. They were unable to find the problem with the fuel system and did not charge me for their time. (Judging from the miles on the odometer - they spent at least an hour trying to find it). The oil change was straightforward. I received a report on the state of the other fluids in the vehicle and some potential problems they spotted while working on the car. Given that the car is almost 10 years old, I was not offended by having potential problems pointed out.
