Garry was terrific! He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He had recommendations for the new 8 light bulbs that was very helpful. The new light fixture looks fantastic and he offered to carry the old one away, Thrilled to have found a reliable and fair electrician!

This services provider was recommended by our appliance vendor as reputable. We received an estimate of costs and explanation of work and options. We were sent to a specific lighting house to purchase the under counter lighting devices.  This is a small kitchen, small job.To be brief, the quality of work/knowledge provided by the electrician was good and informative. The company did not stock their trucks with spare parts and 2 defective dimmers and a defective transformer had to be replaced, some multiple times, and each time the part has to be ordered and then scheduled to be installed again. During the last day of installation, the electrician and an assistant completed the work; another assistant arrived after completing another job, and basically stood around talking for 2+ hours until their work day's end - and we were billed for this time. Initially, the communications about the job, the parts, the process, the time spent and status of expense was helpful and very acceptable;however, when orders,  materials and costs were questioned, the billing person became rude and unpleasant - particularly a miscellaneous charge that was not related to tangible services or products - she explained it as "over runs and stuff" during the job; I asked her to supply the exact nature of the charge otherwise as I was not responsible for their "stuff" charges.I wrote a letter to the owner of the business about the overall experience of the job, billing practices and customer service, and received no response.I continued to receive invoices from the billing person for 3 more months, for the miscellaneous charge - I did not pay for that charge.In spite of the job done, I would not recommend this company for these reasons: the costs were high, the customer service poor, and the owner follow-up non-existent.

Overall we were extremely pleased with the service at Crystal Electric, specifically liking Dee in the office and Eric, the onsite electrician.  This company was recommended to us by a bad contractor, however, and permits were not pulled from the start and an issue relevant to the advice of that contractor did not pass inspection the first time, which is why we don't give them an "A" straight across.  However, Crystal repaired, replaced and exceeded our expectations with regard to getting the work up to spec, including having to re-pull the new circuit and clean up the junction box without charging or asking for an additional dime.  Their electrician, Eric, was knowledgeable, hardworking and trustworthy.  I would hire Crystal Electric again.

Installation went well and smoothly and did a very nice quality job.
