BUYER BEWARE!!! The owner of this company is a complete CROOK!!! He didn't pay any of the vendors or subcontractors on the job (even though he had accepted advance payments for the materials/services) so I had to pay all of them again! The REAL cost of this nightmare is $40K+. He didn't doing a single thing completely or correctly. He used rotten, twisted timbers at the bottom of our timber retaining wall so it began to sink less than a month after installation. He started building a staircase in front that wasn't constructed per agreed upon drawings (and was completely dangerous and not to code) and when asked to fix the errors, he told me there would be additional charges for "my changes"! He bulldozed our entire lot down to clay the first day on the job and then stopped showing up consistently, leaving us with 15,000 sq. feet of MUD for MONTHS!!! Every job was left half-finished and half-assed with tubing and tools scattered everywhere, making our property look like something out of Sanford & Sons! Winter was approaching and he kept coming up with reasons to delay placing the sod until finally in November he had his roomate come and lay the sod because he was having "personal problems"! As expected, the sod job is horrible with uneven ground underneath and seams everywhere. Much of the sod had to later be replaced. After I let him go, he returned to our residence when we weren't there and stole numerous already-paid-for items, including already-installed sprinkler heads! When I went to sue him in court, I discovered that the person who he'd done work for prior to me is also suing him. I cannot reiterate how dishonest and conniving this person is. Saying Buyer Beware is a massive understatement!!!

The thing I really liked about him was that he was set on getting the job right from the start. It was a great job and a fair sized one. I had a couple delays contacting him, but nothing out of the ordinary for contractors.
