The job went very smoothly and the new doors work beautifully!

They were not able to come the same day we called when our spring snapped on our garage door.  But they came the next day (said they would be there at 12:30, turned out to be almost 1:00 PM) and the door works great.  They will have to come back to replace weather stripping since we didn't ask about repairing that ahead of time and they don't usually carry that around with them.  Would call them again.

Installer was 1.5 hrs late, but I did receive a call saying he was held up.  Installer and helper were quick and efficient and opener has been working fine.  We did have to climb up and straighten the antenna for the repeater.

Work was completed from start to finish in about an hour. Both office staff and staff on site were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. After installation, we were given thorough instructions and were helped in setting up remote controls, both in the car and hand-held. Would definitely recommend and use again, if necessary.

Fantastic! They were on-time, polite, walked me through what they were doing and when the invoice was handed over they were cheaper than they had quoted over the phone. The gentleman was very professional and friendly. In other words, I was blown away by the service. Top job BGD!!!

These guys are the best. Reasonably priced, prompt, on time. The performance of our garage door and opener had been deteriorating for years. The opener did not work smoothly, and had to be helped by hand in temperatures less than about 35 degrees. Eventually it seemed to fail completely and we were back to a very creaky door in manual mode. Boulder Garage Door came out the next day and set everything to rights. Thing works better than brand new now.

Will definitely recommend to anyone. From the first phone call to the final trim, everything was done well and professionally. Office staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Service was available the day after the initial call. Called a couple times on date of service to say they would be late as soon as they knew (only an hour late due to some difficulties at an earlier job).
Entire job was complete in an hour. Instructions on use and assistance on setting up codes and car remotes was helpful and professional.
I can only say good things about this experience.

After having a different vendor "no-show" two days in a row, we contacted Boulder Garage Door.  They did the job exactly as we contracted it.  The new doors are exactly as we expected and the installation was superior.  The new doors operate and seal properly and they even provided us with a universal remote to work on one of our automatic door openers.
We would definitely recommend, and do business again, with this company.

I had an outstanding experience with this small company, just like a number of other reviewers. My 30 year old tape-drive garage door opener finally gave out. When I called Boulder Garage Door, the owner spent a good 10 or 15  minutes on the phone with me, explaining all the options and giving me quotes. My opener was much too old to repair, and she recommended a Liftmaster model. I called another company to compare quotes, and found that I was getting a much better product for about the same price at Boulder Garage. The owner's son came out just a couple of days later, right on time, and finished the work in an hour. He removed and disposed of the old opener, and left the place clean. I was very pleased with the whole experience, and now have a quiet, reliable door opener that should last for many years. I would definitely use Boulder Garage again for any needs.

I live up in the mountains, and they were able to come up the day after I called at the time specified.  They knew what kind of door I had just by my description of the problem.  Mike, the repairman (and son of Bev who answers the phone), quickly identified how to fix the issue I found and also noticed a more pressing issue, a crack in one of the panels caused the door to sage.  He was able to fix all issues quickly and inexpensively.  I would recommend this company.

They were great. They did a very nice job, and the person who came to do the job did an excellent job. The lady who owns the business is also very nice. There is another company that is claiming to be this company because this company has good reviews. I would be cautious to make sure this is the correct company when you use their services. This company is a good company.

Boulder Garage Door had recently performed some work for us unrelated to the Spring and we were very pleased and ask them to come out and fix this issue.  Prior to their first visit they had been one of two recommended vendors for Garage Doors by our of our contractor friends.  When your Spring breaks your garage door is not useable (can't open and close).  They are not a huge company (family owned and operated), but they came out the same day within just a few hours.  They didn't have our specifc spring on the truck but they were able to patch the spring for 24 hours to allow it to be used and then replaced the spring the next day.  Although this many have been a nuisance for others for a return call it was not a problem for us and the fact we could get our car out of the garage that first day was fantastic.

This is family owned shop.  The son came out to do the assessment and estimate.  He spent some time on due diligence attempting to see if my existing opener could be used with a newer model (so I could keep both on the same remote control system) even though both of us didn't think it could be done.  At the end of the day we confirmed it could not be done and if I wanted to have the same remote control everything I need to go with 2 openers.  Was very pleased at the attempt he made to see if we could work with the existing system.

New system was two openers and three remotes with Battery backup.  We loved as a side benefit the movement sensor to turn on the garage opener lights.  I believe most openers have this option now, but compared the old 20 year old model it replaced this as a definite step up.

Overall we were extremely pleased with the whole process and Boulder Garage Door.

The company is family owned - the woman on the phone helped me figure out what I needed, how to return what I didn't and sent someone out to fix the door the next day. They were on time, fast and efficient. Any my new door works much better than what I had before.

After a power outage our door wouldn't open anymore, and they didn't know whether this was related to the power outage.  They said sometimes after a power outage it affects it.  They ended up having to replace the controlling board.  They have been working on our stuff for 20 years.  We have them out routinely for maintenance.  One thing that's very nice about them and has been consistent is that if we call the problem they would try to talk us through on the phone no matter how many calls it takes.  They would give us instructions over the phone and really try to save us a house call.  I like them a lot.

I have used this company on (2) separate homes and I used to work next-door to their shop. I have met all of the employees either at their shop or when working on my door-replacement projects. It was weekend and they did the work on Monday morning. I stayed with them because they were local. They did the job well, the first time. They came and took care of the work quickly. The main thing is that they come when your garage door doesn?t work. The fact is that they come and fix it. Last time, the guy did that work in an hour. They were here when they said they would be. I would use them in the future.

They service Nederland which is a good thing because it's up in the mountains. The tech crew who was here was really friendly and really nice. I couldn't stay home while he was here and he did his thing and locked up the garage door. It was really nice.

Came out the same day and the door is still working fine.
