They got the job done in one day. they got all the right equipment and they did a great job.

The disposal had been installed originally by another company. The tenant reported it was leaking and Around The Clog came to the rescue. They are our go to plumbers! They quickly determined it had been installed incorrectly (not turned until it clicked) so that when it was in use the vibration had loosened up the connection to the sink over time. They were able to quickly fix the install and seal up the connection to the sink. No more leak!

Fantastic - Doug is outstanding

My call was returned immediately and scheduling was simple and friendly. Doug not only fixed the leak and the stubborn clog but also installed an additional shut-off valve (at my request) and replaced a few sketchy drain pipes, making the area under my sink look much less like an amusement park. He and his assistant were friendly, efficient, and professional. They left the area cleaner than it had been to start with and were even great with my dogs. All this for a very reasonable price. I am so happy to have found a plumber I won't hesitate to call for any services in the future.

the reason I'm even writing this review is because this young man responded immediately, not this job out in a matter of an hour in spite of some difficulty with the and still charge me a routine rate and travel time for spending an hour to and from the job. It's routine and it was an A+ plus job. I hesitated to call them initially because their rating was not high because of a couple of poor reviews given by a couple of people, one of whom had never seen this company. After reading them it was obvious these terrible reviews were given by people who were using Angie's list just to vent their own frustrations on this business. One of them said he was "tired of calling all these contractors". Another one was upset because besides unclogging a drain they were told actually needed a new toilet. They seem to imply that was the plumber's fault. Consequently they gave this company low grades which is wholly unfair. This nice young man is clearly busting his a** to keep his company going and his family fed and could not have done a better job. Some people just do not understand their own limitations

The person scheduling was friendly and professional.  She kept me posted on when the plumber would arrive.  The plumber was on time, covered his shoes and was also friendly and professional.  He quickly fixed my list of plumbing issues while explaining everything he needed to do. Although he didn't need to turn off the water to the house he tracked down my mainline for me as I did not know where it was.
He felt that my issues were small and didn't take much time so his price was extremely reasonable. I have already recommended him to a friend and will continue to do so. 

The plumber was one of the nicest people, He came over tried to clear the toilet. Said he thought he had it cleared but that we needed a new toilet. Unfortunately, I think that all he did was push the clog further down the drain. He also scratched the porcelain in the toilet bowl. The end result is that I am having to hire another plumber to come out to fix the problem. I will not rate them as F because he did try but unfortunately, was not able to resolve the problem.

Was able to get to the job that day. Took care of everything. We have used these guys for all our plumbing needs. They are always on time and do a professional job.

I was given an appointment two days after calling. Kyle came within the arrival time estimate ready with floor protecting booties.  I appreciate the respect given to my home and for letting me watch him work and ask tons of questions.  My fears were eliminated that my house was going to fall apart!  We talked and laughed and my stress was gone.  Thank you Around The Clog!

Doug is professional, communicates clearly, gets the job done, cleans up when he's finished!  I will keep him on my "go to" list!  Great service from a local Louisville company!!!

Doug was professional and explained the process thoroughly. He arrived when he said he would, and even earlier. He recommended an after treatment to keep roots regrowth down. The only concern I had was that they left the work area wet and muddy. It wasn't a big deal and was easy to clean up, but technicians should offer to clean up any messes they leave behind even though the customer might turn them down and be glad to take care of it herself. The service was somewhat more expensive than others I checked with, but Around The Clog could come right away so I was willing to pay a bit more.

Doug saw the problem, fixed it promptly, and did so at a price that was reasonable. I was impressed with his sense of responsibility for making sure that everything was working correctly, even when it cost him a few minutes of his own time.
