We contracted for a deck of 908 sq feet with Trex decking. Two big snowstorms just as the project started, and in the middle made for a messy work area. Some minor changes in the process were made without an agreement on cost, ended up contributing to a sour closing. The workmanship and the quality of the materials appeared to be excellent. The deck is very nice and met all our expectations.

John has a greatly skilled and professional crew! Plus, everyone is what I call: Good People; that I would trust inside my house. We had a big project that we wanted to do in two stages. This year the Shed Roof over our outdoor space and next year the deck. These guys did an outstanding job and built a solid roof. In fact, it is stronger than our house roof! They used 2x10 Douglas Fir rafters 12 inches on center over a 6x12 Glulam beam! Outstanding craftsmanship, these guys know what they are doing! Very happy with the final product and I will definitely be using them on next years deck project! MANY THANKS TO JOHN AND CREW!

John is a perfectionist, treats your project as if it was his home. As with any home improvement questions and changes come up. John always informed us immediately and the final decision was ours. The quality of our finished project is awesome! We live on the green belt and the frequent walkers watched progress and commented frequently on the great job and looks of our deck. We are loving the completed deck. After the shakiness of a 40 year old deck itâ s a joy to walk out on a sturdy beautiful deck. As a bonus the little extra touches make it a beautiful addition to our home. You wonâ t do better than John Donaldson as your contractor.
