They were late for the initial scheduled time so we had to reschedule. The day of the Pond cleaning the one person that arrived to perform the task was surprised when he saw we had Koi in the pond. The owner of the company and the scheduler knew we had Koi but apparently did not share that information with the technician. He was very young and I would suspect inexperienced. I asked if it was a problem that we had fish, which would require relocation during the cleaning, and he said no. When he was finished he told me he had bad news, one of the fish had died and the other fish was severely stressed. We really think that he was over his head on this job. The Company did waive their fee and promised to replace the fish with a similar size and color fish. The fish they finally brought was 1/2 the size of the fish they killed. The KH and GH readings on the pond water after they left have been a mess and I have been working to correct for the past two weeks.
