Dr. Koenig and his staff have always been great with my dogs. Recently, we were going out of town and had a health concern for one of our dogs before we left. Dr. Koenig was able to get us in that day and give us piece of mind before leaving on vacation with our dogs. Dr. Koenig also called to follow up and see how our pup was doing. He always calls to check on his patients after a visit. He also always takes time to get to know the dogs and make them feel comfortable during each visit. Dr. Koenig and his staff our incredibly caring and knowledgeable.

They're a small practice. It's just a veterinarian and two assistants. It's very personal. They call me after each visit and follow up to make sure that everything is going well.

Went in for check up and vet tech found a large growth on my pup. Initial in office testing was negative but I decided to have it removed. I loved that there was no pressure to opt for surgery and that Dr. Koenig withheld from giving vaccines until a biopsy confirmed that growth was not cancerous (to ensure health of my dog). After surgery he made a personal call to make sure that recovery was going well. Great vet, and a true animal lover!

My dog's last visit to Dr. Koenig went very well. Dr. Koenig and his staff are always very helpful and show a lot of concern for her well-being and health. Dr. Koenig always makes a follow-up call to make sure everything is going well after the visit. He is very professional and has always given my dog excellent care. I have referred others to Dr. Koenig, and they have been happy with the care they received, as well.
Update: Our dog required dental care in the summer of 2011, at the age of 8.5 years. During the teeth cleaning, while sedated, she required some tooth extractions. Dr. Koenig and his staff took excellent, compassionate care of our dog, including telephone updates to me during the process, as well as complete follow-up care. She recovered quickly and is now a healthy 9-year-old.
The teeth cleaning and extractions were not inexpensive, but they were worthwhile and we learned a valuable lesson to regularly clean her teeth!
