Advantage Services

After working with Jerry, we would not trust any project or projects to anyone else but Advantage Services. From the proposal, which was very detailed to the completion of the work every step of the way was done with impeccable precision and execution. He was meticulous in keeping the area clean and brought in machines to maintain our air quality in the rest of our house while doing the work. The finished project far exceeded our expectations. The quality and attention to every detail (big and small) is something you just don't find in today's market. Jerry, is a top-notch professional in his field and an excellent communicator regarding scope and advising of any changes, or possibilities to make the project better, or way's to make it more cost effective when needed. His tile work and overall craftsmanship is the best I have seen in the industry.

This project entailed replacing toilets, vanities, removing a bathtub and putting tile where the tub had been.  Jerry was accurate with his quote and very detailed in assisting us with picking out vanities and toilets that would match our decor and our budget.  He found other minor issues during the course of the remodel and was diligent about speaking to us about the issue and our options on how to resolve the issues.  

Prior to this project, Jerry added a bathroom to our basement.  That project was ran very organized and timely as well.  In the future, we will be having him remodel our kitchen.

He showed up early and ready to go to work. He is very professional and the cleanest worker I've ever experienced. He did a great job! Two thumbs up for sure!

We called Jerry for a quote and he took our waving of hands and gesturing and turned it into a drawing that was exactly what we hoped for. On the day he started Jerry was here on time, coffee in hand and ready to work. The work progressed swiftly, and took about a day and a half over three days. We had to wait for paint to dry, or else I think it would have been two days. Our requirements were simple. Mostly the storage and workbench had to be strong. As it was delivered, it was both strong and good looking. I am as happy as can be with my new workbench. The doors work better than they have in 10 years. We are extremely happy with Advantage Services and Jerry Chadwick. We will use him again, we are already dreaming up ideas for the next project. I have to note, I spend 30 minutes in the garage doing nothing and I am dirty. Jerry worked steadily for hours in the same garage, and at the end of the day he looked as fresh and as tidy as when he arrived. I don't know how he does it.

I've used him several times. He did a great job rebuilding the fence. Sections were falling down slowly so he came back 2-3 times. As each section was falling down, I'd call him and he'd always come over when I needed him. He's a little bit expensive. I paid $65 just for him to show up. I told him different things that I wanted and the estimate he gave me was pretty high. I wanted to put out a new deck and the price was astronomical. I'm sure he does a great job but he was so much higher than anybody else.

This project went wonderfully from first to last. We were "problem customers" in one way, because the timing of the project was difficult. We had  a really short window for it between a holiday and the arrival of house guests. Jerry managed to fit it in more smoothly than we could have imagined, and with no disruption to our plans. He's such an efficient, heads-down worker, so clean and quiet in his work habits, and so thoughtful of his customers that we hardly knew he was there until our beautiful new bathroom appeared--in plenty of time for our house guests! Jerry genuinely wanted us to have this project exactly as we wanted it, and that's the way it came out. He is helpful with ideas and advice, and he willingly shares his extensive knowledge and experience (important for us, as we are not handy around the house and don't have experience of our own to draw on). His prices are fair and reasonable (middle of the range of bids we took)  but it's even better than that: When you consider the careful, thorough, and skillful work he does, not skimping on any detail, his prices are actually rock bottom. He even saved us money by knowing where and how to get good buys on needed items. There were no surprises in the bill, either; even the change we made was economically done.

Jerry gave us a quote ahead of time and we thought it was great.  Jerry arrived on-time and is always professional.  He started to work right away.  He was drilling outside and it was still early, around 8:00 am or so.  He stopped and said it may be better if he put his drill in a different mode which would not be as loud, so he would not wake up neighbors. He completed the work within an hour or
hour in a half.  
He did a wonderful job and even asked us for some paint to touch-up the side of our house where the work was completed.  He cleaned up everything and when he gave us the bill, it was lower than the original quote.  He stated, it did not take as long as he thought it might.   
Jerry is one of the few people in this industry that operates with honesty and integrity. This was our second job with him and I would highly recommend him for any handyman job you may have, be it big or small, he's the right one for the project.

We requested proposals from 4 people. One we had used in the past and three new ones. After reviewing the proposals, we selected the one from Advantage Services.  We had not used Advantage Services before but we were impressed with Jerry's understanding of the project. The proposal was competitive in price, and we scheduled the work. We gave Jerry the specification for the floor, the color of paint, and the size for a cabinet which would have to be custom built. We selected and ordered the cabinets and utility sink. Jerry got the flooring, paint and all the other stuff that goes into such a job. Once material was ready work commenced. Jerry was on time every morning. Jerry is one of the hardest workers we have ever seen. Every detail was perfect, the custom cabinet was exactly what we needed, the painting careful and accurate, and the cabinets mounted just right. Most impressive however was the floor. Jerry installed the floor with only one seam and this floor was the length of the house, and had sections that went into a closet and the pantry, as well as under the stove and refrigerator. Anyone else would have done this in at least three pieces!
Jerry moved appliances, did the floor and trim, painted, installed cabinets, sink and vanity, fixed wobbly kitchen cabinet doors, and all the ancillary work in 3 1/2 days. We are ecstatic with the result. We are already planning other projects for Advantage Services and Jerry.

I have used him many times. He is always prompt and cleans up after himself. He does super work. When the work is done, you can be sure it is done right.

Jerry made me aware of what would and would not be covered by applying the epoxy coating. The job turned out exactly as he said it would.
