I am always very impressed with Dr. Lazarus and the rest of the staff. Dr. Lazarus is very bright and he takes the time to talk to you. I never feel rushed when I am there, and truly feel listened to. Not only that but he has a great way of building me up. The last several years have been extremely challenging for me, and I had much success using their program, but then had back to back injuries and went through a divorce, so I just stopped going. Naturally, being a woman, I wanted to lose weight before going to the weight loss doctor (kinda like cleaning the house before the house keepers comes!). I know, makes no sense! I finally got frustrated enough to go back in, and they were so understanding. I saw Heather on that visit, and she is wonderful as well! When you are at their office you feel like you a truly cared about! It is a great feeling! I beat myself up enough about my weight, so it is so refreshing to go somewhere where I can receive some nurturing! The nutritionists on staff are fabulous as well! I began coming to CNC in February of 2012 to lose weight before my daughter's wedding in Sept 2013.  The clinical dieticians here are fabulous not only for encouragement but to help solve dietary issues that can become a stumbling block to success.  I have worked the most wtih Liz Hurst.  She is wonderful and has helped and encouraged me to lose over 60 pounds.  I have not had the opportunity to see Dr. Lazarius, but have worked with Heather Thomas, PAC extensively and she is wonderful.  She is a straight shooter and calls me out when I have not behaved!  I will continue to utilize the clinic for medication refills and nutrition supplement products.  They are wonderful and effective.

My experience has been shared by several people I know. I have many staff members that I work with and friends that have seen Dr. Lazarus, and additionally I have sent him a number of my own patients. From start to finish, his approach to weight loss is medically-based, not marketing-based. Dr. Lazarus and all of the dietitians at his office that I've seen all share a true enthusiasm for their work. His office does not accept insurance, but will work with you so that if you are eligible you can seek reimbursement. I found his fees to be very reasonable. What the Clinical Nutrition Center offers is a tool, not a miracle cure for a person seeking to lose weight. I found that the physician supervision and the accountability and support of visiting with a nutritionist on a weekly basis in the initial phases was an excellent format. For all of the infomercials, wild claims and hyper-marketing out there in the weight-loss industry (and indeed it is a big-business of an industry), I found the down-to-earth, practical and straight-foward approach of Dr. Lazarus and the Clinical Nutrition Center to be much more appropriate and realistic. And from the success I have seen for myself, the friends and coworkers, as well as patients that I have sent to Dr. Lazarus, I anticipate that I will continue to recommend him indefinitely.
