Locally owned and operated since 1997, Alert Security is the longest running and most reliable ADT authorized dealer in Colorado. We specialize in residential and commercial security, fire, access control and video recorders for new construction and existing structures. All systems are customer owned, not leased. We have offices in Loveland, Denver and Colorado Springs and are members of the Better Business Bureau.

It went great! The guy came out and gave us a really good deal. We had burglaries across the street literally that week, so they were really great about getting out there quickly. It took about two hours, and they've actually checked back with us multiple times.

It went very well. They thoroughly trouble shot the existing hardware and were able to use 80% of what was there. They took their time in checking existing system ,not just rushing with "let's replace it all". They spent a good 11-12 hours on it and we now have a very functional security system making good use of what was there and only adding where they needed to.

Gary was very professional in describing what areas and items we needed to pay attention too. Then the installer was diligent and sensitive to our needs and made small adjustments as needed. Very good experience.

The DVR seems cheap and is hard to use. One of the cameras stopped working a year and a half after installation. I called for support but was given an answer like, "it could be the cable or the power." That was it.
