Timely - The job was done in a very timely manner.
Neat and tidy - Jim is incredibly neat - he will cover existing flooring before he starts work.  He will vacuum up any extra materials when he finishes.
Friendly - Jim always shows up with a smile on his face.
Punctual - When this man says that he will be at your house at an agreed upon time - he will be there
There is only one thing I wish had been different about this engagement - I wish we found Jim years ago!  

Jim did a great job of first finding matching cabinet materials including hardware and then installing it in a way that resulted in a very attractive kitchen addition in our older home.

We originally consulted Jim from a different state, as the property we owned and wanted fixed up wasn't in Colorado. He went to see the tenant we had living in the property and was described as punctual, polite, and professional. We had at least another highly rated Angie's List company come out to give an estimate, and his was 1/3 (yes, you read that right, one third) the price of the competition for the same product. We immediately made the decision to hire Jim, and were able to set up everything from afar - the timing, the price, the specifics of the countertop, and the backsplash. He was very easy to get in contact with and came right on time after we showed up in Colorado. He worked tirelessly for two days and got the countertops up in the kitchen and bathroom (he built them ON SITE - which to me is very impressive), and then started on the backsplash. He got the bathroom backsplash placed without grout (this one was far smaller than the kitchen) and then started to work on the backsplash in the kitchen when the line froze on the tile cutter. He immediately came in and told us, and stated he would be back in three days to finish. We were honestly somewhat skeptical, however he left some very expensive tools at our house as collateral to assure us. He came back promptly three days later (including driving quite a distance through a snow piled road that included two wrecks and lots of traffic) and finished promptly on time before we had to leave town. The finished product looked amazing - so much so that our realtor listed the property 5% higher than she thought she would be able to. We were thrilled to work with Jim and would absolutely recommend him to anyone in the future!

Jim was polite and professional on the phone, offered to come to our house to give us an estimate on the work. He started work on the island the next day, and had it finished in 2 days (one day earlier than estimated), at $25 less than his original estimate of 225.00. He was a pleasure to talk with, and his work was excellent.

James Sutton was a pleasure to work with and he did an excellent job. First of all, he called us back, promptly. He always returned our calls right away and answered all of our questions. We began with a small bathroom remodel and had James build a new laminate counter top with integrated sink for the vanity. We had seen a sample of his work in a kitchen and bath cabinet shop and really liked how the sink was integrated with a laminate counter top. The counter top and integrated sink are wonderful and look great. There was some project scope creep when he started on the new tile back splash, we asked if he could replace the wood shelf with tile in the window box in the bedroom. He was more than gracious about this side project. When the wood shelf came out we discovered there was nothing under the wood but framing and insulation. James installed an underlayment and backing material and the tile and only passed on the cost for the backing material. We were so pleased with his work we asked him to give us an estimate for replacing the laminate on the kitchen counter tops. The house is 21 years old and the laminate was beginning to show some wear, and it was a little dated. The new laminate in the kitchen looks great and so does the new tile work. James is a professional and he was very respectful and considerate with us and our home. He cleaned up the job site every evening took great care to keep dust to a minimum in our home. James does a great job at a reasonable price. I already have another project in mind and I will hire James again.
