About us
Home Construction and Carpentry is a locally owned custom carpentry business based in Greeley, CO. John finds great joy in building things out of wood for people. He is a born again follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, married to Misty, and has five daughters. John was born and raised in Wyoming. He grew up on a cattle ranch learning the frugal ways of fixing things and hard work. During high school, John took a great interest in woodworking and signed up for wood shop class all 4 years. John graduated from the University of Wyoming with a BS in Agricultural Business while riding saddle broncs for the UW Rodeo team. John has always had a hand building things part-time, on the side, or as a full-time job. In 2014 John graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. From May 2016 to May 2021, John pastored a small church in Idaho. He and his family then moved to Colorado where he now resides.
