CARPET EXCHANGE

Although ultimately the project was completed and looks nice, the process took a long time and they had to re-do a very poor tile job. We had to constantly push to get estimates and initiate all communication with this company.  The guys that they sent out to lay the tile did a terrible job; uneven tile, sharp edges sticking up and left an absolute mess behind.  The store manager, Rick, seemed less than concerned but eventually we did get someone out to re-lay the tile after several weeks.  We had to make several trips into the store to check on progress and push to move things along.  Totally frustrating experience.  Salesperson disengaged after the sale with no followup or so much as a 'thank you' card or call.  This company must have so many customers and enough sales that they don't have to worry about customer satisfaction. 
We used this same company to carpet our main level in 2009 and had no problems.   There are some spots on the carpet that was laid in 2009 and the salesperson promised to have someone look at them to provide suggestions for cleaning/removal, but we have never heard from the salesperson or any representative as she promised. Quality of products is good, prices are competitive, but I don't think it would be worth the stress to do business with them.

They did a great job and did it in a timely manner. The guy that did all the floors name was Taylor. Great guy and very professional. Took only a couple of days. We would definitely use again, in fact we have referred our daughter and neighbor to them. Very happy with the work.

This company is very nice to work with. The office staff is very professional, quite responsive. We had them do a whole house carpet installation. They made us a good deal on the carpet in order to compete with Home Depot who we've used several times in the past. The installers were good and did a nice job. The carpet itself though is pretty cheap. Apples to apples: Home Depot provides a better quality carpet for the price. The Carpet Exchange carpet seems to pack down fairly quickly and doesn't have the resiliency we look for. We certainly appreciate the deal, but we'll be going back to Home Depot.
