"We gave the title to the owner of the car (grandson), and have a signiture on file that the title was picked up by him. His grand mother came in very with a bad attitude and spoke to us very rude and ranting, and called me a lier and told me that I can't prove I ever given him the title. I showed her the signature and she said you can't prove anything. As a result of the abuse she put us through, we told her that she is no longer welcome on our property. I did get a duplicate title for the buyer (grandson) and give it to him. It cost us about $200 in time and fees to do this but we did it free of cost. The grandson had lost or distroyed the title we gave him, and hadn't told the grandmother anything (I am assuming) as a result they came in to "demand" something that was not our fault. We did resolve the situation but I would never like to deal with an unreasonable person like the grandmother again. All they had to do is come over and tell me that they lost the title or the dog ate it or it got distroyed some how and I would have done the work for free and replaced it with pleasure... but when they lie and tell me that I am a lier... I have a hard time dealing with people like that. We bend over back wards with any of our customers that treat us with respect. The people that treat us with disrespect and are rude, we will try to help as well, but we can only do so much. As the old saying goes... "you will always catch more bees with honey than vineger""
