I called the shop and got a very polite gentleman who let me make a reservation for that afteroon for a tire rotation on my pickup. When I got to the shop they were expecting me and took my truck right in. They offered to do a free inspection, but I really did not have the time. I will take them up on it next time though.

The rotation took less that 15 minutes. While I waited mechanics came out to speak to other customers about how their vehicles were progressing. This impressed me a lot as I have not seen it often. The best part came when the truck was ready and it was time to pay. I found out the rotation was FREE because I had Bridgestone tires on the truck (apparently a Firestone Company). I was told it did not matter that I bought the tires at another unrelated store in a different state. Rotations on Firestone Tires are always free. So when these tires eventually wear out, I know where I am getting my next set. Good job Firestone!

I took the car in for an inspection. They broke the latch on the inside of the car that pops hood open. They denied breaking it and said it was already broken. I know it wasn't because I had checked the oil that morning. They said it was written on the work order that it was broken. It is easy to write something down as coming in broken so they don't have to admit they did it. They said I could go to an oil change place and have it fixed and they would reimburse me, or bring the car back in. Oil change places don't do things like that and they knew it. I took it down to have it fixed. They would not fix it.
