The project was a nightmare!!! Not only did it take six months to complete, but the communication was terrible. We hired Triple C to add a master suite. Chris had 4 weeks of issues getting the permits. Once that was over we expected it to move along quickly, but there was always some excuse as to why they were not working on our job. The progress was very slow and the work continually had to be redone. From a warped post being used in the fence they were contracted and paid to install to the horribly warped wall in the new addition. When I mentioned the warped post, Craig said it was straight when we put it in. The wall, he told me there was something behind it they needed to go around. Luckily I had pictures to show that was untrue. The wall had to be taken down and redone. My concern there, had I not had pictures Craig would have stood with "it was not us, it was something in the wall" Communicating with Chris was horrific, never called or texted back, never answered questions, and when he did they were danced around and never straight answers. I asked SEVERAL times, what is my budget, Chris told me not to worry he always bids on the high end to make sure the client has room to pick what they want. When it was time to start picking out tiles & such, we picked what we wanted. After the tiles were in, counter was in, mosaic installed in the floor we were told we went over budget. WHAT??? Obviously, my high end and their high end were not the same. After the work was done Triple C came to us and said, you only had $7 for tiles, $500 for a shower door etc. We were dumfounded. WHY didn't you tell us when we asked and BEFORE it went in, we could have made an informed decision to go with the tiles, doors, floors that we did or stay in the low end budget Triple C had and did not disclose. Another example of lack of communication by Chris and Triple C. As for the actual work Triple C did, it left much to be desired for us as clients. The tiles in the bathroom are not sloped correctly. The slope is so bad we can put 2 quarters, a nickel and a dime to make it level. Craig fought this for weeks instead of fixing it. This would have been the right thing for a contractor to do. We asked to remove the door to the closet and replace it with an arch. Instead of properly creating an arch with the proper wood they pieced it together, after a few weeks of settling the shoddy work is painfully obvious. We also had a barn door installed and my husband had to take the barn door down and redo it, the weight of the door required a header board to secure it properly, which Triple C neglected. After taking it down, and seeing the screws used the door would not have held long sliding open and closed. The closet wall is not vertically level, noticeably now that we are installing a closet kit, ourselves! The foundation is warped and noticeable with the wood flooring installed. In our front yard the cement trim is cracked and the ground sinking where Triple C dug to
