Description of Work: He helped me to troubleshoot problems with my tv on the phone and charged nothing for it.

 + -1 morevery easy to talk to and knowledgeable.
Description of Work: i called for an estimate and gave him the info i had and he told me that he couldnt fix it and if he could it would be cheaper to buy a new one. then he explained why that was and recommended some brands that were at least fixable.

 + -1 moreI called two television repair businesses and was quoted a range of $280.00 to $320.00 by the first, and then I called Tom and was quoted $170.00. I was shocked and clarified in detail what I perceived the problem to be and told him about the other repair shop and he said, "nope, $170.00 with parts and labor should cover it, if that is all that is wrong". I immediately scheduled an appointment for the next day. The appointment was overlooked and I called a half an hour past our scheduled time to find out what was wrong. He had misplaced the piece of paper with the details and had completely forgotten about it. He was able to re-schedule for 1:00 PM that afternoon and was promptly on time. Within an hour our TV was back to normal and the price came in under what was quoted. I would use this company again!
