Little did we know that we would be calling on them again within such a short time. On a beautiful day while taking a walk, our little guy was attacked by two large dogs. He was doing very so well after his surgery, that we could hardly tell he had been sick. When the dogs picked him up, they shook him like a rag doll. He immediately cried out in pain. I thought his neck was broken. I scooped him up and called my daughter to meet me at the vet. She had the foresight to call ahead and inform them that we were on our way. When we arrived they put us into a room and took our dog away to care for him.
The story ends very happily. He has recovered and is doing great! The doctors and all of the staff there are well trained and compassionate. They have treated us like family during both times of crisis. We will never be able to thank them for the care they gave our dog.
Soon thereafter we needed to bring our cat in. Again, Dr. Becker and Erin were great. Erin acknowledged that it was good to see us again under different circumstances. She handled our cat very expertly and nimbly. The vaccinations were well. We were given the choice of what to get and also given sufficient info to make an informed decision based on our cats indoor/outdoor activities etc. They were able to look at the ear swab right then and determine the problem so that we could begin treatment. Then she even asked if we wanted to see the mites under the microscope too. I'm sure not all folks would want to do that but being a biologist I thought it was great.
Overall, they are very friendly, obviously love animals, and very professional. The cost was reasonable (the price listed was for both the cat and dog services they provided) and expected based on other quotes we had gotten. I gave them a and quot;Band quot; for punctuality only because we had to wait a bit in the examination room. It was not excessive by any means -more what you might expect at the end of the day given they don't know how other appointments might actually go.
