Peaceful Valley Irrigation & Landscaping

I called the owner in the fall and told him what the problems were with my system. He said this should only be a few hundred dollars. That was fine. When I called in the spring, he said they would get it done. A sub contractor called and said, he was hired to do the job. Well, I needed this done. He quoted me $240.00 over the price of the parts, good thing I had checked an new what the cost really was. I got that down. He said this would take 1 day, except he had another job and could not stay. It took 5 days and 1 day he did not show up at all. He did not have any supplies and had to keep leaving to go get them. When the job was finally finished, the system did not work at all. Because of his other job, I had to give them access to me home without ever meeting him, to get to the box. I did not feel good about this turn of events. They got it running. Now the bill comes. They charged $750.00 for labor. Far cry from what I was told. My regular guy, could not do it. I usually do not hirer people this way. I needed someone now.
  1) They left all the trash
  2) They left leaks in the system, I was told they would just stop on there own
  3)  Was not completed in a timely manner
  4) When I called about the bill, there was no return call
  5) the dirt pile was left on my yard for me to take care of.
