Newton And Sons

It's difficult to find words about how impressed we were with Eben and Joel's (Newton & Sons) work.  When we received the estimate, Eben told us that his work is not completed until the customer is completely satisfied.  He also expressed that he and his son are very sensitive to those who are dwelling in the house.  This showed throughout their time here.  Cleanup and rearranging furniture were handled without a hitch.  It was almost as if we didn't know they were working...this is how efficient they were.
The job itself was done wonderfully and masterfully.  They were able to fix a few areas that we were concerned couldn't be done without tell tale signs of being previously damaged.  But, they came through in each case with 100% effort and the end result was near perfect.  The paint was also matched up just right.  We were able to offer them some old paint we had, but after time, the paint can improperly match up.  They not only had solutions, but the right paint that matched each room.
Initially, we'd planned to patch up and paint over some of the cracks and nicks in the addition.  We had some leftover paint, but the room is so exposed by the sun that the original paint was not even close to what the current color had faded to.  Eben and his son suggested a few different options.  The first would be to attempt to match up the current paint color (although this would be quite a job & extensive use of resources trying to make it look right).  The second option was to repaint the entire room a similar (but not exact color) for an added $200.  The third option (Eben's suggestion) was to paint the room a somewhat darker shade (which was closer to the living room color) that would really give the room more warmth and richness.  This would cost an additional $500.  We decided on the third option without any pressure from Eben or his son.  Eben and Joel proved they knew their stuff.  After the room was completed, we couldn't see how we might have chosen any other option.  It was perfect.
 I know Eben and Joel do other work (other than drywall & painting).  If you're looking for a team that is conscientious,  produce quality work and offer great suggestions at a nice price, I would heartily recommend them.
