Description of Work: remodel on kitchen

Description of Work: I hired this company as a referral from someone that had just had work completed and she was very pleased. I wanted a room built on my daughters home for me since I had moved in with her family. He built the room, and finished most of the inside, failing to hang the closet doors so they would work, completing the installation and inspection of the vents for crawl space under the room he built, which did not pass inspection. I now have to hire someone to come in and remove the paper off the insulation in the crawl space, finish placing insulation in areas that he failed to put it. I already paid $235.00 to have the vents installed. He failed to complete the work outside, and when the rain hit in the spring I had bubbles of water under the paint which was later found to come from the areas left exposed and unfinished on the front of the house. I had to make a claim on my insurance, which was not covered. I paid to have the roof re-done, the work finished and the rest of the siding put up to complete and seal the work from further damage. This cost an additional $3000.00 which I paid to another contractor to do the job. I sued and was granted an approximate $19000.00 judgement against him of which I have not collected one cent. Why is this business allowed to steal from people this way and have no accountability???????
