I had good luck with them.  They were prompt and call you ahead of time to tell you when they will be here.  They do a good job.

The serviceman came over the same day as I called and reviewed the situation. He would replace the leaking plumbing and get me going again. I was concerned that the water heater was twelve years old. I researched and learned that most water boilers only are good for ten. We talked about replacement and price. He quoted me a reasonable price and I agreed. They removed the old unit and had a new one installed and ready to go in about three hours. Everything went well.

It went very well.  The technician had available a used motherboard, and installed that to keep the system going until the new motherboard was received.  Then he quickly came out and installed the new one.
There was some discussion about charging for labor.  But I brought in my warranty papers showing free parts and labor for 10 years, and it was agreed to.
Air Tech now has a chart of set prices for most service calls, starting at $189 and going upwards, with extent of work.  The $189 does seem a bit high for a simple task, but the owner explained that it is the average of past charges for the simpler tasks.

Seemed overpriced, tech did not seem to be happy about their 8-8 hours

My experience is primary with one of their guys, Brian. We have used him to do an annual check on our heating and cooling systems. Brian sets a schedule like 8-12 or 1-4 and he has always been here on the early part of the time frame he says he will come. He gets here promptly, works efficiently, gets done and leaves.

They are fast which is nice.  Our heater went out, we called them and the guy was out that night.  We had called them at 3 o'clock and he came out at 5 o'clock that night.  He came out and fixed it for us.  We forgot he was actually here until he came back and said he needed to grab a part.  He grabbed the part really fast, came back and had it fixed for us that night.  They are great for emergency service.

Since we have purchased this system the company has changed owners and stopped carrying Train systems. We have a 10 year service contract with this company.  We are currently getting the run around for some issues that are happening. We understand that the contract does not cover little things, however we are having issues on a larger scale that should be covered.

There was always a reason the schedule had to change. Scheduler ws arrogant, and paid no attention to requests for scheduling. After quoting a price, notified me that the price would be doubled, as they would need two people, instead of one, due to pitch of roof. They knoew the pitch from the beginning. When I agreed to their upsale, the couldn't come because the roof was damp,, yet couldn't manage to rescedule when I was to be back in town. Their prices are at the top of those charged in this town, and their responsiveness is at the bottom. I have no idea of the quality of their work.
