I just know The Home Depot really well. They have good customer service. I get stuffs there all the time.

Got a great price. They came out and installed it. They file all the paperwork on their end.

It was easy. I went in and picked it out. They delivered it and got it installed. They are easy to work with.

Seven weeks passed from the time we signed the contracts and we had heard nothing, no communication of any sort from anyone at Home Depot or from the company they contract with to install the system. We called to inquire as to where and what was going on, when would we have our system installed, etc. We were met with confusion. At first, no one had any idea and responded they would call us back within 24 hours. No response, so we called again, We were told the system would be shipping soon and it would be a few days because it was coming from Minnesota. Days passed. We called the following week. Again, no one knew what was going on but they promised to return our call within 24 hours. We waited. No response. We called again. We were told the closet system would be shipping in a couple days, they promised. 
Another week passed. We called again. They didn't know but promised to call us back within 24 hours. We called again. We got the same responses as we had in the past. It would be shipping in the next couple days and would be here soon. This time, in the course of the conversation, we were told 4 times (!) the system would be shipping from Chicago (?) in the next few days and we would be notified when they received it. Obviously, they had no clue where this closet system was coming from, and maybe were just trying to impress upon us the distance. We don't know and it doesn't matter.
Finally, we were finished with the ineptitude of this company and called to cancel the contract and requested a full refund of the entire amount of the project since they obviously couldn't provide the services for which we had paid in full. Tho somewhat amazed that we would do this, we were told they would have to get this approved and they could not promise the refund of our payment. They said they would call us back within 24 hours. We, once again, got no further response so we called and requested to speak with someone in charge, a supervisor or anyone who could possibly provide any help with this issue. 
After days of numerous phone calls from us, we have gotten responses from 2 different persons, tho never within the 24-hour time range they always promise. One call told us, yes, they could cancel the contract because since this was no special order, they could easily resell it to another customer. Really? Really? And, because of that, we would be refunded our money in full. No interest, of course. They can charge 20%+ for purchases but they can't pay interest owed for a customer's long overdue purchase? Another call from Home Depot assured us we would receive our full refund, no fees charged, in 7-10 business days. We asked why it would take so long to simply credit our credit card and they responded they were sorry but people had to sign off on this and there was paperwork, you know. 
Yesterday, March 19, we received a call that everything was in order and yes, we would receive a refund of our payment in full, no service fees charged, in 8-14 business days. We commented, you said previously 7-10 business days, and she just laughed. 
We have been customers of Home Depot for many years in several states. This is the absolute worst, most pathetic way to treat any customer, new or longtime. I will never recommend Home Depot to a friend, acquaintance, neighbor or anyone else for any purchase. Service such as this deserves no customers of any kind. Shame on Home Depot.

Just fine for just looking.

We bought cabinets from them. At first i thought they were great, but they made a few errors that delayed the installtion. I like the cabinets, but it was just the sales person I didn't like. Everything else was fine.

They were very easy to work with. Any mistakes or problems we found they took care of right away.

Everything worked out fine. The carpet and pad are nice. The salesmen was also nice. The good news and the bad news was that they ran a $99 installation for the whole house special back to back with another special and they didn't have the man power to accommodate all of the business they got in a timely manor. We had ours put in within a month but they wanted it to take two months. We had to fight and work hard to move up on their list because of some extenuating circumstances we had.

ONCE I FOUND SOMEONE TO HELP ME (ALWAYS A PROBLEM AT HOME DEPOT) THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE HELPED ME PICK OUT A GOOD QUALITY FAN, AND EVEN THOUGH THERE WASN'T AN EXTENSION OF THE RIGHT LENGTH, THE ONE THAT WAS CHOSEN WITH SLIGHT MODIFICATION BY ME WORKED FINE.

THE SPECIALIST WAS CORRECT IN ASSESSING THE EASE OF THE WORK BASED ON MY SKILL SET, AND I DON'T REGRET DOING IT MYSELF INSTEAD OF PAYING THE EXTRA $200 FOR SOMEONE TO INSTALL IT FOR ME. I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO INSTALL ANOTHER ONE IF NEEDED.

THEY WERE EFFICIENT, COURTEOUS, AND PUNCTUAL. IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

THE HOME DEPOT WAS VERY HELPFUL. THEY DID ALL THE PREP WORK & THE LAYING OF THE NEW WALKWAY. THE WALKWAY LOOKS GREAT. WE ARE VERY SATISFIED WITH JOB THEY DID.

EASY TO BUY AND GET HOME. THEY DIDN'T BOTHER TO EXPLAIN THAT IT WAS SET FOR SEA LEVEL ELEVATION. IT HUMMED FOREVER UNTIL WE FIGURED OUT THE PROBLEM FROM A NEIGHBORS EXPERIENCE. IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY.

GOOD QUALITY CARPET. GREAT INSTALLERS THAT WERE FAST AND ON TIME. PRICE WAS GOOD. I'M CONSIDERING MATCHING THE REST OF THE CARPET IN THE HOUSE TO THIS.
