+ -1 moreExcellent. I decided to fix it. He found that the items the dealer told me that needed to be repaired actually didn't need it. He found some items originally thought to need repair didn't need it, but others did. The final bill came out lower than the original estimate. I just picked up the car, and it runs so much better than before... like a dream, sweet and smooth.
Description of Work: Mechanical Service work I took my car to the dealership for an oil change, after I hadn't driven the car in months. The dealership told me I needed three things replaced which would have cost $1800.00. I went to see Robert at Quality Unlimited for a second opinion. After an hour of showing me everything under the hood, AND hoisting the car up, and walking me through everything under the car, he pointed out a whole lot of other things that needed to be done. Then he gave me an estimate, which was only $200.00 more than the dealership. He said I could either sell him the car, or fix it, because I had many more miles and years left on this car.
