not well.  Poor trouble shooting process, defensive mgr when confronted with issues who wanted to blame us(customer).

The experience was terrible. The installer arrived at my home almost 2 hours late-I had to call the company to find out that he had been sent on an earlier call all the way across town from my home prior to my visit-this maximizing the charge to get to my home. He did not have the materials on his truck to do the job, despite the fact that I told them when I scheduled the appt. what I needed to have done. Furthermore, he took 2 trips to the local hardware store to pick up parts. I called the company and was told that I wouldn't be charged for his time at the hardware store but I was-I was charged 2.5 hours for labor and $112.96 for parts for one internal cable outlet box-the size of a regular electrical outlet and cable wiring for the outside of the house. I think $112.96 for parts is extortion. The repair person did not clean up his mess-I did-despite being a senior citizen and having a bad knee.

Our front dining room and living room lights (on the same circuit) went out. I was not sure why, and said when I called that it may be an issue with old wiring in the attic, or replacement wiring in the attic. I thought I might also have the contractor put the two lights back on separate circuits, so on the call-out, they were probably expecting a bigger job. I had a very pleasant phone conversation with Brook, who booked the service call for the next day. The electrician, Carl, called punctually to tell me he was on his way. He was very pleasant to deal with. We talked it over and decided that he should first check the switch, since that may be the problem, and we could go from there if it was something more, involving wiring. It turned out that the issue was simply the dimmer switch, which he replaced. The parts of this experience that jarred me were: 1. Carl did not carry a spare dimmer switch in his truck, so to replace the switch with a comparable one, he offered to go buy one at Home Depot and return. I didn't want to have to pay an electrician by the hour to go to Home Depot and I didn't want the whole thing to take another hour longer, so I settled on him replacing the dimmer with a regular switch. **Afterwards, I spoke to two other electricians who said that they typically carry one or two of the most common types of dimmer switches and other replacement parts with them for such cases. This was a plain vanilla switch. Had I been asked beforehand I could have told Brook what kind of switch it was. 2. While working, despite having a big toolbox along, it seemed that Carl spent a fair bit of time heading back out to the truck to get something else and resolving the issue of one of the screws holding the original switch to the wall breaking off in the wall when he was screwing it back in. It came across as inefficient when working at a rate of over $80/hour. 3. Carl did not offer to cover his work boots or remove them as he came in and out of a house with polished hardwood floors. 4. Carl left behind him a small pile of debris. 5. There was an unanticipated $9.00 Environmental fee. I felt that a switch replacement job should have cost maybe $80-$100, not $138.56 I expected a serviceman to: * carry basic replacement parts, * cover his shoes or offer to remove them when entering a house, and * clean up his mess. Had the call gone thus, I would have recommended this company in glowing terms. As it was, I decided against having them do any other work.

Arrived 30 minutes late. Very friendly and professional. I had no idea that the opening in my ceiling couldn't support a fan, but he crawled between roof and (vaulted!) ceiling to install the support to correct it. He also fixed a minor wiring quirk and answered my questions helpfully. He did a great job. Definitely tried to "round up" on the time spent, enough so that I had to object and correct it on the bill. Despite this, I am VERY pleased with the outcome and efficiency.

Polite, respectful, explained things as they went along in their process; knowledgeable; on time for both house calls; total cost to us was only $45 because of home warranty; they advocated for us with the home warranty company to do further investigation when they could not resolve the problem within the initial two hour allotment.

Couldn't be happier with the quality of the work that was performed, the knowledge displayed by the man that came to our house and the value. The man was clearly experienced and knew exactly what he was doing. Our ceiling is rather sloped and there was a little problem with the fan we had purchased from Home Depot fitting in the space. The technician was able to modify part of the ceiling fan assembly so it would fit in the space available. The end result looks and works great. Highly recommend this company.

Service person was on time, worked at a good pace, and cleaned up the work area after job complete. First time at house had only one switch installed since one fan had a remote included. Had service person back to install second switch after remote for ceiling fan malfunctioned.
