Over 7 weeks AND 13 visits, we were intermittently subjected to gas leaks, water leaks, no hot water or heat and error codes on our tankless water heater. They took advantage of the fact that my 2 teenagers and I had no hot water and no heat and continuously up-charged us. During that time, they charged an extra $1900 over the original estimate of $4000. All of the issues were because they failed to recognize that my existing venting didn’t match the new unit (even though they added to the venting) and because they didn’t provide drain piping to manufacture recommendations. They offered me money back and then rescinded the offer as the problems they should have caught just continued. I ended up “chatting” with the manufacturer and showing them screenshots to prove the venting was wrong. They offered a cleaning crew after I complained and already cleaned up the mess they ground into the carpet. When I asked to speak to the owner/DORA license holder, Levi Torres, I was told Levi “doesn’t take phone calls”. Clearly, he only takes your money and wastes your time.

The project went smoothly, from the inititial call to setting the date and the actual work. The plumber was friendly and professional and showed up on time. He had all the required parts on his truck and completed the job within 30 minutes. The project rate ended up being in the ballpark of what I expected. It would have been nice to have some idea of the price before they showed up though. This seems to be an overall issue with Angi's list with 5+ vendors wanting to show up at you house before providing an estimate. It's probably the nature of the work...

The team at High 5 Plumbing was easy to work with, great at communicating, and quick with their service. Although my tech had to reschedule because a previous job was taking longer, I appreciated the communication and every effort they made to get me in first thing the next day. If I was the client on the other end I would have appreciated them taking their time and making sure everything was correct instead of rushing to get to another job. I would use them again. Amanda was amazing and a great tech.

Our experience was great. Josh Moya located our issues in minutes and saved the day by fixing our swamp cooler on a hot summer day! So glad I went the route of hiring professionals to help us out. Big High 5 Energy!!

Larry was amazing! So great at customer service. We had a pilot light that would not stay lit and Larry educated me about the reason why. Quick and simple visit. Thank goodness there was nothing seriously wrong. Would love to have Larry come out for any of my plumbing issues.

They were friendly and efficient, but they required a paid service call just to get an estimate, which is already a yellow flag for me. And their costs were outrageous. Like $600/hr outrageous for extremely minor work. $350 of a “difficult access charge” because I wanted plumbing work done under a sink. You know, the place where all plumbers put plumbing? Not hiring them again.

They helped me realize what I needed was simpler than what I had in mind.

The guys that did the work were great, I needed the work done quickly but I know I was way overcharged for what was done so I would say good work just too expensive

The tech was on time, went through the house where we discovered a few other items that needed to be replaced, stayed until it was done. Have a quote so I knew what it was going to cost and we agreed on the work to be done.

Asking to have my name spelled correctly several times and it not being changed sums up my interaction with High 5 as a whole. I have 2 complaints including not completing stated job per invoice/conversation with Morgan and non-existent communication. Don’t get me wrong, everyone was super nice but were quick to transform from plumbers to magicians and disappear and I am guessing that they did not expect me to follow up on their work in the crawlspace. I have attempted to reach management multiple times and have provided several dates I am available for someone to stop back by. As it stands right now, I will not be using their services in the future and have had no choice but to file with the BBB and look into legal recourse. I would have never thought I would be having to take this kind of recourse as it is not me but I have no other option unfortunately. I initially contacted High 5 for a simple slow leak from a shark bite that I was unable to remove myself and ended up with a slew of complications and a $4400 bill for a $440 job. I have been cool since the get go and just wanted the work I paid for completed and I get it that it was a Friday job and everyone just wanted to jump into the weekend, but I NEVER HEARD BACK or LEAK FROM WATER HEATER CAUSED FROM WORK WAS NOT FIXED and WORK WAS NOT FULLY COMPLETED. See attached invoice of services rendered and pictures of concerned areas. - Per Morgan, “We will replace all the shark bites, copper piping and this should be about a 6 hour job”- the job was completed in 3 hours. - Large amounts of old pipe and fittings still remain with nothing replaced leading to any fixtures. Previous pipe was insulated and new pipe is not which I will have to complete myself. - After job completion Jesus told me “we usually replace piping through the drywall for this job but Morgan did not say anything about this and he is usually good about communicating. There is also water on top of the plastic down there (in crawlspace) that you probably should get up.” I had removed the plastic tarp where the leak was so that it went directly into the ground and spent hours getting the water up after the job. The large area can be seen in pictures which had approx. 2-3” of water on top. - All pictures are after work, including leaving the main house valve cover off and having to clean up lots of trash. Tons of these small details add up. 5/6 Friday- work completed and not final job not reviewed by journeyman 5/7 Saturday- LM emergent message that water heater was leaking after their work was done with no response. Per the High5 membership, I should have access to 24/7 help, even if the problem was not their fault. 5/8- Email with pics sent stating all concerns including leak that I was luckily able to fix after a few hours with neighbors help (see pics below). Never received a response. 5/13- Called the office during business hours with no response 5/16- Called the office and reached Alex who stated someone would call me back and later texted that Morgan would call back the next day- he never called. Alex said that they had new staff in dispatch which was why no one had answered my email or called back. 5/18- Sent message r/g not hearing from anyone with no response (see pic) 5/19- Sent message r/g not hearing from anyone and Alex LM to call back. 5/20- LM after I got off work at 1900 and have not heard back… 6/24- I have yet to hear from the company and actually just got a package from them with a High5 hat….with my name still spelled wrong….

High 5 consistently delivers great service! We have their membership which includes a yearly checkup of the whole house and a water heater flush. We had been doing the maintenance, trying to lengthen the life of our 15 yr unit, but decided it was finally time to replace. Chris did a great job of reviewing all of our options and didn’t push for more expensive units and kept our choices open. They are quick to book appointments and always on time. I would highly recommend trying them for your next plumbing need.

It went great. Getting to the water main was quite the challenge. Jordan has technical know-how and is quite the contortionist. His process was efficient and informative. On the annual inspection, he was a good and patient teacher of various facets of plumbing. He anchors information to plumbing fundamentals, and gives specific information about products, function, and diagnostics. Excellent technician.

Not well. First I was told the the faucet needed to be replaced. Then, an associate dropped off a new faucet. This faucet not nearly as nice as the one took out. It doesn’t retract the hose which makes think that the weight isn’t attached correctly. Then, the final was over $1,000! I looked for prices for faucets and there were many that ranged from $50-$250. I looked at average cost to replace a faucets and they ranged from about $250-$500. Nothing close to eleven hundred. When I called I was basically told That’s just the price these days. We were members and had only good experiences before this. Now, we will never use them again.

I had never used High 5 Plumbing before but I will most definitely used them again. Jason came to my house exactly when he said he would, he looked at both problems and got to work and fixed them. He was a pleasure to deal with and I have no reservations with recommending him and his Company.
