Kracl Automotive

Had Jeep towed to Kracl by my mechanic of several decades who is going through a hard divorce. He is having a difficult time and told me that he could not do the work at this time. Jeep had a bad seat on #5 cyl, and needed to be rebuilt. I brought in my Mercedes to have AC recharged. They quoted me $113.00, after they finished I went to pay the bill. I almost passed-out when they said it was $490.00 almost three times the quoted amount. The next morning I got into the MB, and guess what no AC. Apparently they did not do a good inspection of the system for leaks. When confronted the response was and quot;IT IS WHAT IT IS!!!!and quot;, no apology or empathy. Now back to the Jeep, I was quoted $838.00 when they finished I had a bill of $1,414.00, and the AC which was working prior to their work was no longer working (which I have not advised them). I have stopped payment on my $1,414.00 payment, and look forward to addressing both of these with Kracl. I hope that we can settle this matter without going to court, but we will see. And I will use their response and quot;IT IS WHAT IT ISand quot;. And by the way the quoted amounts are shown on both of the final invoices. Please use caution with any dealings as they have shown that they do not respect their quotes. I am sure that there are probably others out there who have been taken advantage of! I have lived in this valley for 45 years and have never been treated in this manner.

I feel like they are honest. They are very detail oriented. He goes above and beyond explaining things. Their pricing is fair and he is very professional.
