They provided the cut size very expeditiously. When I got the bill the amount was $34.21. I am third generation glass business, and started two others in Aspen, CO. After retiring from the glass business I have used Elmer's for all my glass requirements (appx two decades), with a wonderful relationship. This piece of glass should have cost around $6 (pricing from Lowe's, Glenwood Springs and Ace Hardware, Carbondale, CO, I question the amount, but was given the reply that glass prices had gone up. I paid the bill cash, and got on the phone to Lowe's and Ace. That is when I found out that they had taken advantage of a senior citizen. Within thirty minutes I called their main office in Gypsum, and spoke with the owner RYAN. Ryan informed me that the product was $5.99 sq ft which have been $10.48 in lieu of the $34.21, but the absolute kicker is he informed me they had a three (3) sq. ft. minimum. I was not informed of this verbally or was it posted in their offices. I ask for a cash refund which he refused, offering just a store credit (which was not posted or indicated on their invoice. In all my decades in the glass business did I ever treat a customer with such low customer service. My suggestion for your retail and commercial glass requirement is to use one of the many other companies available in our area. I certainly will advise friends, and contractors to use caution.
