Don't EVER use Bishop Plumbing. We had them come clear a backup issue a few weeks ago and haven't used the plumbing since (we haven't been here). We paid over $500 for this and our plumbing just backed up on us. They then declined coming out for service when I expressed frustration that the issue wasn't fixed after paying $588 to fix the issue. I never once said I wasn't going to pay, I just didn't think we should have to pay full freight when we just paid for the issue to be fixed and it wasn't. I merely said, let's figure out the issue and go from there, we will pay to figure out the issue. Clearly, they don't stand behind their work or are competent enough to fix any issues beyond a clogged toilet. A total scam - I have never experienced something like this ever.

I told the guy there was a 4" pvc pipe coming out the door of our crawl space which ran back under the house to the base of the water heater. I guess to get fresh air for the water heater. The Bishop guy said that may be the problem and any way there is no 'code' or reason to have it so he unscrewed a couple hose clamps and unhooked the pvc pipe. Then he said if that doesn't fix it that particular manufacturer has had defective igniter modules and they should give me a replacement for free and that he could install it. He said he would put in this call as an estimate only and there would be no charge. Then I got a bill for 112.00. The pilot still blows out. They gave me a "break" on the bill after many phone calls, lower the bill to "only" $89.00

"I'm not sure why this review has been repeated. We were at this person's home in May of 2016 and the bill was settled in August of 2016. This review is dated 1/5/2017. This is very confusing."

Floundering, unnecessary work, uncertainty about job.
Some plumbers were very good and some were just incompetent.

Bishop advertises their plumbing technicians as "rock stars". The kid showed up and tried,talked to his supervisor 2 or 3 times, when asked by me or my wife, he said he would get it fixed. I spoke to DAVE at the office, and negotiated the price down to about one half, but was still excessive as I later found out. They did a bad job and their office manager also did a bad job. I will never use them again.

He suggested splitting the bill in half. We agreed and Mr. [member name removed] provided his credit card to pay the bill. We are sorry Mr. [member name removed] is upset with the bill he negotiated."
