I ran into a problem building a bookcase by myself. Kevin Thurlow took my problem area and quickly worked the solution. I recommend his work without hesitation.

Great Guy

Kevin was kind, easygoing, knowledgeable, timely, and so easy to work with. He even came back to the house to help at a moment's notice when the toilet at our rental property started leaking the night before guests were coming to rent it. He installed a new garbage disposal, replaced and repaired toilet parts, did some painting, and installed molding and wood around a window.

The other reviews on this page cannot be authentic. I have since been advised that this site is not regulated and the reviews are not verified. I will not be surprised if mine is not posted. He did a poor job - the sheetrock patch is crooked, which made re-texturing next to impossible. He sent ME to the hardware store for supplies! He would disappear for hours at a time and return many hours after promised. During the absence he did not respond to phone calls or text messages. He walked through the house dripping drywall mud on 3 levels of the house plus the front porch. I had to clean drywall mud off of all of the floors plus the bathroom cupboards! He over-sold his skills and obviously has No experience in texturing. He used an excessive amount of texturing product and instead of allowing proper drying time for the knock down, he immediately scraped it all off. This is NOT how you texture! I had to let him go half way through the project. The next person I hired had a mess to work around. Since the patch was crooked, the air vent duct cover can only be secured by one of the 2 screws, as the other one hits the metal duct. This was an incredibly frustrating experience to say the least.

I would call him again if I had more work.

Kevin is a very likable and reliable man. He went out of his way to finish the job, even though the work was much more extensive and complicated than previously anticipated. It took many more hours to complete, but he did it all in the same day and not charging extra, so we gave him an extra tip. I highly recommend Kevin and we will hire him again for other jobs in the home.

He is a skilled craftsman, he recently sanded, primed and painted my old kitchen cabinets. They look like new. He's personable and friendly.
