The Pipe Doc

I agreed to the recommended fix and was SHOCKED to come home from work and discover that he and his associate had run the pipe on the exterior of the drywall versus in the stud wall behind the drywall.  I had never heard of a plumber running piping on the exterior of a stud wall and would have never imagined that this was even a possibility.  Most of the work was done by one his employees and the quality of the work was far below what I would consider to be a quality job.  Instead of using a stud-finder to locate studs and avoid them, they simply drilled multiple 1.5 inch diameter holes in various locations through the drywall in my family room and hallway.  One section of the pipe was simply laid on the floor behind the hot water baseboard heat cover!   Their lack of professionalism was clearly displayed when they turned my driveway into an ashtray by simply tossing their cigarette buds where ever they pleased! 
I then received my bill, which came in above Kevin's estimated range, and when I called to voice my complete dissatisfaction with the job, Kevin stated that he would take me to court if I didn't pay the full bill!   He never apologized for the lack of quality of work that his company did nor did he offer to come out to fix the plumbing job.  We had to hire a new plumber to fix the Pipe Doc's lousy work and the entire job dragged out for twice as long as it should have if the job was done right the first time. 
This company is the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with.  If you value your home and demand a quality job you should go elsewhere.
